Morpheus and the Decision

So in a moment of clarity, you meet Morpheus and he offers you the pink pill, the blue pill, or half of each. You must make a choice; you cannot return to your previous reality. Which do you choose?

(apologies if this has been posted before; for those not familiar this is a reference to The Matrix, a decent film by a terrible actor :D )

PINK! I've never been able to take such a big leap of faith -- it would be exhilarating! Being a resourseful person, I want to assume that I'd make a good go of it.

I am 72 and have been closeted all my life. Since this is a small part of my life and I know at this age that it will not progress any further, I would just take the blue pill.
The little that I have would certainly not make a big purge.

I guess it depends on how magical these pills are. I don't have a problem 'being' a woman but 'becoming' a woman, that's a tough bit! If the pink one could 'real write' my past as far as anyone who's ever known me and I could still keep the trappings of what I've achieved as a 'guy' I'd probably go with the pink one.

Ok, that sounds a little too non sensical and completely chauvinistic, I think I'll just* stick with the 'blink' ones, I'm starting to warm up to this 'tween' thing 😊

The decision tree is simple for this one. Two choices, each exclusive of the other. Skate, or get off the ice. Not, "I want to walk on the grass wearing ice skates." BLUE OR PINK, not blue and a little pink around the edges.

(If this appears grouchy, I just awoke and didn't sleep well)

Same age? Blue pill. There's pretty much no difference in being an old homely woman, than being an old homely man. The only difference is, there are many more old women, than old men. So maybe it gets lots better as men get older. We'll have to wait and see. If I could go back and start over? Pink pill. Blue life already done, not so great.

I agree with sometimes_miss on this one. I'm no longer young enough to really appreciate the full go experience at this point so I would go with the blue and add in my own pink like I do now.

Soooo... most of us are already half 'n' half, to different percentages.... I used to think I'd pitch all blue - that was when I had more girly urges all the time... now I'm not having those, I'm thinking it'd be kinda nice to stay with the 50:50 thing... Contradictory? Moi??? :D

There are some interesting aspects about being able to flex across a range... :daydreaming:

How about a pill that changes the standard clothing of each gender in the illusion world - you take the pill and all men wear dresses and makeup and the women all wear pants and suits.
