View Full Version : What type of car would you drive

If you had a choice, what type of car would you drive while dressed to the "nines"????? Me personally, I prefer a red Mercedes Benz convertable and I would be dressed in a snug button down blouse with 3 buttons open showing my cleavage, a short skirt, stockings and my hair flowing in the breeze. Would I be showing off; YOU BET!!!!!

If I'm wearing a hoop skirt, probably riding in the back of a taxi - preferably a Ssangyong Stavic or a Mercedes-Benz V-class.
I can quite imagine myself wearing a violet V-necked dress and black pantyhose, heeled feet on the pedals of my dark blue Mitsubishi Lancer, one gloved hand on the wheel and the other wrapped around the shifter, silently resenting the snarling traffic and full carparks. And I mean leather driving gloves, rather than those cotton ones that resemble opera gloves!
Given the choice, right now, all costs notwithstanding - I'd just pick a Porsche 550, and minimally wear a windbreaker over a spaghetti-strap top, capris and a pair of Converse. Of course I'd have my wig secured with the same spectacle strap I wear when I play sports.

Hmmm... Obviously have to be something elegant but not too masculine... so Italian and British sports cars are out, sadly... can't really be seen struggling out of a Gallardo in heels.. And wherever I'll be going will have valet parking, so not worried about size.... Oh - and it must be a soft-top but suitable aerodynamics to only allow a delicate ruffle of the wig in motion... An older Merc SL would be nice, but perhaps something a little more modern and British (barely...) ;)
And it must be pink! :D

I could see myself in a 500 series BMW Dress, Heels and a whole lot of diamonds.
Powder pink vespa with matching open face helmet... assuming I ever decide to get a license, and no, I wouldn't be dressed to "the nines". I'm not the uber girly type. For the record, that's what I'd go for even if I wasn't a "cder". Yes I'm a bit of an odd duck.

My daily ride is a BMW 328i but, if dressed to the nines, it would be great to just bop around using Uber or Lyft.

Wearing my finest sequined gown and jewels (ya, right) I could see myself behind the wheel of a Cadillac CTS-V. (Think, hottest 4-door "Corvette".)

Molly,
I'm not too worried as long as it has a good heating system ! Boy has it been cold and wet since I've been going out in January, I can see why my heated seats are always turned on when my wife has driven my car !
I don't think I've used the air con yet this year !

Seems we like to play the fantasy games here. I gave up on the fantasies when young and cursing a God for screwing me over.
Assuming I am still not rich. I would still be driving my new 2016 Ruby Red V6 Mustang with the manual 6 speed shift, at least it matches my lipstick and nails. I have driven with 4 in heels, but not great on my clutch. Am not an exhibitionist and don't care for convertibles. I am a bit of an Alpha driver type. Anymore power and I might have a tendency to drive way too fast.

for me, Ram 3500 dually 4x4, CTD - cummins turbo diesel, not the newer ones as it is too quiet, the older ones with the mechanical fuel pump as you can really hear the diesel clatter and no DEF ! I prefer a lighter colour, so silver or white.

Realistically, I would love to be out in my wife's 2014 Volvo S60. Mine own wheels are a 14 year old Honda CRV.
As a vintage fantasy, that 1963 Chevy Belair that my Dad owned, would be a great fit with me all dolled up as Sarah

Karen, the car is hot but I want that outfit!
Ditto for me! That dress is beautiful, and the hat is just as much to die for!
I wouldn't like to dress like this while driving, much less in a convertible like that - is it an AC Cobra?
Taking the simple premise of driving a silver Porsche 550 while draped in fashion most alluring and elegant:
I'd throw out the otherwise romantic image of myself in a low-cut bodycon cocktail dress, exposing a small amount of cleavage and a ridiculous amount of legs in nude stockings; luscious jet-black hair thrown to the wind, the sunshine on my exposed shoulders and high heels working the pedals.
It'd look a lot more like me feeling like I dressed for a photoshoot with a classic car rather than a long drive - being confined in a tight little dress I was told looked 'hot' on me, holding on to my wig for dear life with a small braided headband, and wondering why I didn't just wear a jeans outfit with a pair of Nikes, in place of a revealing dress with a pair of platform heels.

George Jones' song
"As he stared at my Corvette
He said, I had one just like her son,
A 1963
'Til the man down at the
Bank took her from me"
Then he explains
[I]Then, I handed him my keys and said,
Here take her for a spin
The old man scratched his head, and said
[I]Then he looked at me and grinned
He said son you just don't understand
It ain't the car I want[
It's the brunette in your 'vette that turns me on.
I wanna be the Brunette

My daily driver is a Mercedes C350, and in warm weather when I drive en femme I open the sunroof and the front windows. But if I could have a choice of any car to drive cute, it would have to be a 1990's Mercedes SL, with the top down and the accessory windscreen.

There was one of these at the McCormick Auction here this past winter. The high bid was $29,000 but it didn't sell. I assume that the reserve was not met...

That pink R35 is so cool. Val a gg who l go driving with, has an 700 bhp R34. In white. She can drive it too. The joys of Cornwall. No race tracks and very few traffic cops.

I have always had a 'pash' for Porsche, so it would be a 911 GT3 and I would be driving it in a white trouser suit and sandals (don't like heels too much). But it wouldn't be red, maybe blue.

To me, a car is just a device for getting from point A to point B. I hate driving, and would love to be able to hire a chauffeur. That being said, I need a car that is big enough to hold all my purchases for my shopping sprees.
