So, my wife is away for two weeks. I haven't worn any male clothes other than a jacket (and shoes...my feet are too big for my wifes shoes!) in almost a week. Today I ventured to the supermarket wearing female clothes. Okay, I was in womans jeans, and my jacket covered up my skimpy top, but it felt good. And right now I just went outside for a late night smoke wearing the same top and a skirt. It felt good. I am at the point where I want others to see me, and get that out of the way, so I can lose the fear of going out dressed. I would love to have the courage to walk down the street or go for a coffee wearing a dress :)

first times out are scary, but it gets better as you do it more often. you have to be comfortable and confident . take baby steps and build up to going out fully dressed.

Good for you! I have a couple steps of fear when I go out (especially when wearing tops???)
1. Getting out my apartment door
2. Waiting at the crosswalk to cross the street
3. Going to a 'new' place

After I notice that no one really notices me I just forget what I am wearing and enjoy my out time. :)

All you have to do is "Do it". Walking out the door is likely to get you busted by the neighbors so I'll suggest underdressing, driving to a mall parking lot or something similar and changing there. Go far enough where friends and neighbors aren't likely to be.

You can probably find shoes at Payless.

Stepping out of the house is always the hardest part for me, getting out of the car is the second hardest part☺️ I still shy away from others, working on my self confidence when around others. Trying to keep my head high, not make eye contact, and not trip in my heals LOL. Good for you, stay confident and have fun! Brenda
