Today Felt Pretty Good...

Hey All,

We all have good days and bad ...but, as I sit here, reflecting on my day.. It just feels... good!

Some of you may know I am getting married to a wonderful loving man in September... I went shopping today and found a dress to get married in.... I expected a long drawn out process in which I was never quite happy with what I found but I actually found something at the first place I went to that I loved... It all came together quickly and afterwards I continued with my day's errands.. groceries, bank, gas station... The mundane stuff of life.

When I got home and put the dress away... wrapped in plastic... It began to sink in... What the dress represents.....How far my life has come in such a short time... How comfortable I am with my life's direction and the decisions I have made...I will never have to go back to living a lie... Authentically me....

Like I said... We all have the good days and the bad days but don't forget to press the good ones close to your heart and remember how good it can feel... It makes the bad ones easier to navigate

I'll sum up one word to bring harmony between "good" and "bad" days and that word would be gratitude. Simply (or often not so simply), an aim to be appreciative and accepting for who, each one of us is, deep down inside. For me, your beautiful dress wrapped away in plastic waiting patiently for you to slip it on for your special day in September represents love...love for yourself, love for your soulmate, and love for the beautiful relationship between the two of you...
