I recently started running again after a year or so off. After running a marathon I just lost the desire to run unless someone is chasing me. Man it is tough getting back out there especially in the summer heat. But I have to. I have added a few pounds and have to trim down a bit.

I found that I had accumulated some extra tissue up top that made it difficult to run comfortably. I was getting quite a bit of "bounce" and irritation. So I brought it up to my wife and found a site for ladies with the same issue (www.bigbustsupport.com). I shared the site with my wife and read the page about sports bras for men and was astounded that she was "supportive" of me finding a bra that worked for me. It was like we had something in common on that "front". LOL

I ordered a Nike compression bra and tried it out. This was my first time out of the house with any kind of female garments. What a difference it makes!! I have stopped worrying about someone seeing the lines or sweat marks and can focus on running.. Ordered a few more for stock.

The funny thing is that now my wife will touch my chest when walking by or rub her hand up and down my back as-if to feel my bra. Maybe she has always done that and I just never noticed. :) We even had some "alone" time this morning between our runs and got to investigate each other's support gear.

Uncharted territory, but it is exciting.

That's great for you. Now find an excuse for panties.

BTW: I have never felt like running unless someone is chasing me.

I was never much of a runner at all, and at this point in my life, I'm not going to run even if somebody is chasing me. I hope I like whoever wants to chase me, because they're going to catch me.

Running ? Nah. Anything over 40 yards is distance to me. 😬 I, too, wear a bra and panties...because I enjoy the feeling. My supportive wife will also "rub" my back to see if I'm wearing. She can usually tell. She smiles and winks. I smile and wink back.

Excersize as a weight control tool? Not a chance! Diet change is the way I did it and continue to.:)

Excersize only gives my body more male definition.

Exercise and diet are important to good physical health. Not necessarily running, but walking, swimming, etc. Anything that keeps your body active.

I started running in high school and didn't stop for years.

Unfortunately I no longer run as my knees and back have ordered me to stop. Now it's long walks and less impact exercise.

My wife thinks I'm nuts for wanting to wear a bra. She does because she has to, if she didn't need it she wouldn't.

Ny dad just passed any at age 95 1/2. He said he never ran in his life. He rode horses until into his 80's. Riding horses in saddle for years, can cause a condition called "riders' painful patella." A knee problem. I ride bicycles a lot. I suppose there is a side effect to everything, including CDing.

I have to totally agree with Linda. Running on hard surfaces ultimately will destroy you back. Every doctor I've ever talked to will tell you to stay away from high impact running. Low impact is swimming. Brisk walking is best for me. If you want to lose weight it's always proper nutritional eating and exercise. There is nothing wrong with strength exercise, if the goal is to just do it for muscle tone. There is a world of difference between exercising for increase bulk/muscle and toning. And, watch running in the heat. You will not find me running ever in high heat and humidity. It's really easy to find yourself with a case of heat stroke or heat exhaustion. Done that once, really bad trip experience.
