My morning started out with a coworker getting an email from Amazon saying that I might like this dress for my birthday. NOT COOL AMAZON. Felt like all the will to cross dress was sucked out of me. My tummy was in knots all morning. Then the mail came. My wife had purchased me my own special bra and panties set. I have never owned my own before and I was elated. After my child went to bed I quickly got out my boobs an put it all on. I then borrowed a dress from my wife and put on lip-gloss. For two hours I pranced around the house and felt so pretty. Like a real woman. I didn't want to sit down so I cleaned the kitchen and danced around the house. Then my wife painted my toe nails bright pink and painted flowers on my big toe. When bed time cam I put on a nighty and went to sleep. The day started out bad but wow what a finish. As I sit here typing this my toes are hidden in my shoes but I know how pretty they are. What a gift.

Oria, whenever I put on matching bra panties and a nice skirt and top. This is when I feel pretty and if I put on makeup. That goes over the top. Yep girly and pretty.

Painted toenails are high on my list!!! Fully dressed as I can get(no wig no makeup) and putting on my go to earrings!! Those earrings cap the experience and I feel so pretty!! They are pearl round clip ons and just look so good!! Hugs Lana Mae

I feel pretty when I can let my hair down from its every work day ponytail. A glimpse of my face in the mirror of my self with hair framing my face and spilling over my shoulders never looks masculine to me.

For me, it is getting completely dressed and going out into the real world for a day or evening of fun.

A slow start but a bright finish! My auburn wig and makeup do it for me... when the last step lipstick goes on my spirits soar... I feel right and whole.

Don't think I ever pranced just because I had womens clothes but if you pranced I am happy for you and that you had a great day after all.

Nothing says, "Pretty woman", for me like a sexy fem figure.

Which helps explain my fixation on creating one on Sherry!:battingeyelashes:

What really does the trick, is putting on a long straight hair wig, and having it cascade down the front and shoulders of whatever I'm wearing.

Same for me. Nothing makes me feel more pretty than getting all dolled up, slipping into a pair of heels and going out, even for a drive. Nothing makes my night more than hearing the click of my heels on the ground as I walk

Ditto.
Underdressing does nothing for me.
I used to dress without forms, makeup and wig. Because I thought these items would sort of confirm that I was a transvestite. But since comming out to my wife and trying to accept myself, it has been all or nothing for me.

I have to agree, nothing beats a trip out in girl mode. Thats definitely my favorite way to feel pretty.

The mall is fun, but spendy. I've only done it once, but going to an Art Museum was the bees knees! Will definitely do it again. I love shopping, but I'm also a really nerdy intellectual type, and having my brain engaged in that way, while out in girl mode was like pretty much heaven on earth for me.

If you can't get out though ... yes ... having a "pretty party" (as my wife calls it) is sooo nice. Even if I'm just doing laundry or cleaning up around the house, doing it pretty is like .... nice! Really really nice!

Underdressing is ok, but it rarely puts me in the sort of headspace that actually presenting as a girl does. Honestly, these days I rarely put on boy underwear anyhiw. But Like if I'm going to have a really stressful day, I do like to wear my most outrageously pretty panties. Or on a day where I just shaved, and I've got to wear dress pants, slipping on a nice pair of silky pantyhose underneath is a nice "swishy" feeling to have. Gotta watch out letting your pant legs ride up though!

So. Why did this happen? Never heard of it before.

This might sound a little silly... but seeing my toes painted while wearing yoga pants. Not while wearing shorts or jeans... yoga pants. Maybe because the flared bottoms make my feet look smaller. :)

I like wearing ear rings, the long dangly ones, makes me feel a tad prettier,

Apparently my wish list was not as private as it was listed to be. So now I have deleted my girly stuff from all of my Amazon Lists.

It's all or nothing for me. When Stephanie feels the need to come out and play she is adorned from head (wig) to foot (heels) and everything between. I am strictly a dress woman. What really makes me feel terrific is a sensuous nylon full slip under my dress.

I tried underdressing several times because so many ladies on this site do it. It does nothing for me, although wearing support pantyhose does help the diabetic neuropathy in my lower legs.

Natasha, the only way I can see Amazon sending an email to a coworker is to have the "wish list" open for general viewing, and, the coworker checking on it for some reason. Maybe the poster unknowingly projected herself as having too much interest in all things feminine. Just guessing. I keep my "wish list" private so I can track future releases of new books. It seems too many e-commerce retailer inundate my mailbox with special offers related to prior purchases or even looking at something. I get plenty from JC Penny asking whether I am still interested in a particular dress I viewed. The same with eBay.
