Phantom bra

I had a rare opportunity to be dressed for 3 days in a row and, of course, wore a bra the whole time. I know that doesn't compare to many of you all who are able to wear a bra often or all the time.

So going back to work in the male mufties I noticed during the day that I could still feel the bra straps on my shoulders, similar to a phantom limb I guess. It was the most delicious feeling!

Anyone else similarly situated have a similar experience?

I know what you mean about the bra, the same applies to suspender belts, when you get so use to wearing them it's very easy to forget to take them off . On one occasion after a dressing session I had to do some things in drab, later when I arrived home and went to the bathroom I discovered I was still wearing it, without the stockings.

Oh yes. Same feelings. Even when I'm not wearing my bra, I can swear I can "feel" the straps and back....and I miss it. Same with panties and hose. A wonderful feeling. By the time I return home, guess what's the first thing I do? It's amazing.

Hi Samantha. I know what you mean. I had a similar situation recently where I wore a suspender belt for several days under work trousers and for the next few days I still felt like I was still wearing it. It brought such a smile to my face while wearing drab when I experienced those sensations. xx

This happens now and then, and like you I have heard of many CD's along the way reporting bra straps pressing on their skin even though a bra is not being worn

I think it is your body telling you that you need to wear the bra everyday and not be going without one

I like to wear a Style 309 w/ underwire for light support everyday myself.

Yes, that happens to me too. I love wearing a bra (I actually need one since my boobs are so big) and miss the feeling when I'm not wearing a bra but, still feel both the straps and the band. What a lovely feeling wearing a bra gives me.

I have never felt like I was wearing a bra when I wasn't. And I've never forgotten that I was wearing one (yet) although I don't really feel the bra, only the boobs.

I too have felt like I was still wearing my bra some time after I took it off. If this happens you need to remember quickly that you took it off or you might just adjust a non-existent bra strap in the wrong company!!Oops!

The bra I was wearing was a Bali Passion for Comfort underwire in Pink Sands color. I looked online and they no longer have that color for that style. 🙁 It's one of my few pink girly things.

I've been wearing a bra everyday for so long that it feels odd when I'm not wearing one , but sometimes at night I wake up and it feels like I have one on , it's a strange feeling .

I do get so accustomed to wearing girl clothes that sometimes i forget exactly what I have on; when I have to go outside for a moment or two, I usually leave my girl underwear on and just throw on a pair of sweats to do whatever task is required. Occasionally I have realized when I got to the car that I needed to run to the store or something, and halfway there for a moment, don't remember if I changed or that I'm still wearing a bra and panties under my sweats and wonder if the outline of the straps and elastic will show through. It takes a few clicks of time while I evaluate what I actually have on, by how it feels.

I don't know, I wear a bra most of the time. If the bra was not comfortable I do feel the effect for awhile. What I have found is every once in a while when someone looks at me funny I caught myself looking down to see if I have one on. My problem is I'm so used to them that I don't think about it. The subject came up one day when out shopping with the girls (women friends and wife). The general consensus was that you get so used to them that you don't really think about them unless they are uncomfortable or something different. A lot of women wear one brand and style. If they change for a some reason the feeling changes. If you think about your bra most can feel it. A couple of the girls asked me what I felt, and my wife said oh he has more bras than all of us combined. I responded that I didn't pay attention that much but was occasionally aware like them.

I have never felt the straps missing but I do feel the band underneath. I love how secure it feels when wearing a bra. Feels like you are being hugged the whole time. Albeit, I am a bit chunky so I have a full A cup lol.

Yes, I noticed it after I had worn a bra for three days and then no bra the following day. Normally I don't wear a bra more than an evening or a few hours during the day. That's why the feeling was so wonderful!

I'm very conscious of my chest. Although I have no breasts I seem to have a sensation most of the time that
gives me a feeling that my 'breasts' are there just waiting to be covered by a bra.
It's difficult to describe. I'm probably unique with this one!

I've been wearing a sports bra a lot recently. Like, every day, and for most of the day.


Today has been the 1st time in a while that I haven't worn one.

And I find myself having that phantom feeling of wearing one -- then when I realize I'm *not* actually wearing one, I really feel like I should be.

idk, I kind of don't want the bra to become normalized like my panties so I wear it only a little.

Right now I can barely tell that my underwear is panties. I'm still super careful, but I'm so good at being careful that it doesn't phase me.

I just got a bra that fits yesterday!!! I am so excited. This is the 3rd bra I own, but the fist that is truly my size. I had to order it because I couldn't find a 42b in the stores. It is purple and lacy. It also just happen to match a pair of panties that a friend bought me. I am naturally a B cup. I have been teased all my life because I have "man boobs", but now I love my boobs! I still want bigger, though😊

That is one of my goals as Joyce to take one of those cruises or go to one of the big FEM affairs so I can be Joyce for days on end. So I have yet to experience several days in a rows after effects...I'm envious and can't wait for my "ghost bra"!
