Well I talked to my girlfriends mom that I am a F2M and that I would like to try surgery and hormones. She said she was not surprised at this. She was woundering but was afraid to ask me. She was alittle confused how this would all work out but she seems to be ok with it. I guess time will tell. It felt great to be able to tell some-one else besides my g/f. My next step is to try out living full time as a guy for a week and see if I can pull it off. Then if that works then I plan to start the rest as soon as i can afford it.

Wonderful news misunderstood, I'm really happy to hear good news. :)

BTW, can I ask, is boreing a place in Ohio, or is it not very interesting?

It is really uninteresting,plain,butt-backwards,side walk rolls up at dark.:) Just to describe it simply.

I was truly amazed at my mother-in-law's reaction. She is the most ridiculously conservative person I've ever known, but she was OK. It turns out she knew a transsexual in earlier life and understood it well.

My soon to be ex-wife was very good at telling her what was going on. She explained it to her Mom marvelously.

All I can say, is that as I go through this, the vast majority of people have surprised and amazed me at their reactions. It's actually the minority that are a bunch of morons.

I'd agree totally with that. Only two people so far have been in any way negative, and they are ironically my fiancee's parents. They don't want to see, talk to or otherwise know me, and that's that. So... probably won't invite them to our wedding if we have it then ;)
I hope this helps others realise that, though you can't predict how people will react, most of them are pretty groovy with it.

Misunderstood (misterunderstood? ;)), lol at your description of Ohio. Won't go there for my hols then hehe.
Take care :)

You're so lucky. I know most of my family wouldn't take it well.
