I find myself getting more and more reflective after each time I go out. Any signs of internal conflict are gone, just a pure joy about doing what I do. For me, the most special things are the little ones. The way my necklace dangles when I lean over. The little tickle of my hoop earrings as I shake my head or laugh. The way I have to brush back my hair to put my earrings on. Charm bracelets. The gentle way I instinctively brush my hair from my eyes. When I am with a group of women and am included in a greeting of hello or good night "ladies". Being called "ma'am" by a waitress or cashier. Just the way my body naturally moves in a skirt and heels. Touching up my lipstick. A conversation with a total stranger and I am not viewed as being any different than anyone else. My silhouette in a t-shirt and skirt. Opening my purse to pull out my wallet. Painted nails. That smile of confirmation from certain passers by.

I could go on and on, but you ladies know what I mean. It's the subtle things for me that create that feeling of femininity that we all seek.

OK, have to run, almost time to do my makeup!

Totally agree. Day-to-day it's the accumulation of small, what I consider "soft" things that drive me forward. I was walking down the street the other day marveling how awesome it felt to have absolutely nothing in my pockets. All that pocket stuff was in my purse and I was honestly feeling an amazing sense of freedom and lightness. It was totally unexpected, but there it was. It put a huge smile on my face. :)

The little things are precious. It is so nice to be feminine and reflect that in daily activities. I have long hair and it really does affect many things and you notice how to eat and every thing.

That's why I smile all the time when en-femme and being alive in the moment.
