Has anyone ever taken advantage of any costume themed 5Ks or mudruns? I live in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and have a decent list of these events to attend or volunteer with for this fall. These are a great outlet for anyone just wanting to get dressed up and involved with the general public. I've already worn my new cheerleader costume to an event earlier this month and ended up cheering on runners/walkers along the course. And I'm already volunteering for another one in September and have been encouraged to wear my costume as a volunteer.

I found a few of these by Googling 'costume 5k' in my state.

Way to go, Marcelo! I look for ANY excuse to wear a costume out. Because then Sherry can come out and play!:D
