Getting ready when you can't.

So when your position is as mine, and you can't get dresssed but so far and your vehicle is all that is left.........

Are there good places to go get ready if thise wwho do know are too far away from where you live and or are going.

I have no problem changing clothing in my car. I wouldn't try doing make-up though. Too many bumps and distractions.

I did that for a year or so when my son lived with me. I would shower, shave and get all my undergarments on (squeeze and plump stuff!), skirt, top, nylons if applicable and maybe my foundation. I would put on my baggy slacks, and long sleeved shirt, socks and shoes and jacket and then head out the door. I would then go to a safe parking lot with very few people coming and going, take off the man clothes, shoes, socks and pants first, put on my girl shoes, take of my shirt, all the while neatly folding the male clothes and putting them in a plastic bag with the shoes on the bottom. Then I would finish the makeup, with the powder foundation (if I couldn't put that on at home) and the blush with a towel wrapped around my shoulders to catch any loose powder if it got a little messy. Then I would do my eyes, all the while looking around and checking the mirrors for anyone coming to their cars. Then I would don the wig put on the lipstick and jewelry. I was good to go. Awkward and less than perfect, yes, got me out of the house for a night on the town, a double Yes!! I have actually changed top and skirt to go from daytime look to night time look in the car parked on the street near the restaurant where I was meeting friends to eat. So, "Where there is a will, there is a way!" Good luck, be careful and have fun.

Thank you, I have gotten outfits that are jeans and shirts. Easy to just put shoes and makeup in a backpack.

Though admittedly right now with mom turning for the worse, i just haven't worried bout dressing as much. Not for a great lack of wanting to.
