What if... I go for my transformation and see Lana Mae and want to be her 24/7??? Can I give up my male self to become my female self?? How would this impact my world?? I could not afford surgery! I do not know about hormone therapy-cost and side effects!! I have had my male plumbing for 65 years!! Maybe I could have pretty breasts or...? We will see, we will see!! Sorry, just wondering!! Hugs Lana Mae

Why do u think a common requirement for SRS is that u live as a female for a year before hand?

Is transition even on your radar? Getting a make over won't make you TS.

OK, what if? What if you suddenly discover you have a talent you never suspected you had? Would you rearrange your plans to accommodate that? Would you find a way to make the changes you need happen? Or would you suppress it because it didn't fit into the plans you made before you even suspected it existed? I guess you have to live it and see.

I would think that by age 65, you would be able to answer most of your questions yourself.

Transition would really disrupt your life and your family's life. Surgery is very expensive and at your age, testosterone and genetics has given you a very male body and face. It would be very difficult and expensive to make you look like a woman.

You can get "pretty breasts" for $300 or so but you have to stick them on each time you wear them just like I do.

Sorry, had a weak moment!! I am a 65 year old male!! I kind of like my plumbing!! I have no plans for transitioning!! I am 99% sure seeing Lana Mae will not change that!! I have pretty breast forms thank you!! There are too many things in my life that need a male!! Thank you all for your responses!! I feel much better now with less self doubt!!! Special hugs Lana Mae PS: Also I have more friends on this forum than I ever had at one time in my entire life!! I do not want to give that up!!!

Having thoughts like that are just fantasy rearing its head we all have had those.
Main thing is just have fun being who you are and enjoy your guy time and your girl time.
You don't have to be one or the other just do both.
Don't over think everything you pretty much know what you should do.

Water balloons in a bra are a cheap, but realistic way to have boobs, padded panties or padded girdles, make nice curves. i agree with Kris on transitioning at your age. Jenner has not even done total transition.

I think most of us get that fantasy from time to time but for me at least, reality brings it to a quick halt. I could afford breasts and a vagina if I really wanted them but that's just the beginning. There's the body and facial hair removal and the adams apple surgery. And of course something would have to be done about my voice.

In the end, I would not be a "hot chick", I would be a somewhat large, homely woman with big hands and feet. And an old one at that. And of course there are the family and social issues that would have to be dealt with.

I've been male since FDR was President. Even if I bought a female body, I would still think and act like a male.

It's a fantasy, nothing more.
