I have an opportunity to go out in CD mode. It's a club in Atlanta. I am going to see a friend preform in Drag. The silly thing is I am more nervous about driving in Atlanta than going out in Femme dress. I will have to change at the club so that is a plus, just meaning I will not be in the general public. I also am not going to have make up on and may or may not wear a wig. I would if I had them and knew how to put on makeup. I will try and borrow a wig. I am at a point that I want to say "the hell with it" and do my thing, but then I want to be 100 percent perfect. So I have this conflict going in my head. I did get a lot of encouragement from another event I went to and all I had to my name was a dress and a pair of heels that a friend gave me. I put together an outfit now, that I think is decent enough to go out, but am still missing accessories. Which to me are a girl's best friend. So, wish me luck!

Have a great time-wig or no wig! I will have to be total wig and makeup before I leave this closet. But that is just me. You do your thing and enjoy to the max!! Hugs Lana Mae

I've done quite a bit of cycling over the years and many people, including the women, change at (not in) their cars. It's called the towel method, I guess, where you wrap a towel around your waist as your closet while changing from spandex to regular clothes.

I usually wear a simple athletic short over my panty and slip my skirt over it then remove it - sometimes outside in parking lots. Sometimes I just strip down to my panty outside my car with a door open later in the evenings. For the most part I just change in the back seat. If you have tinted windows it gives you more privacy. We're men so all we really need to keep covered is the pelvic area. I have a really small car and it's surprising how little room you can get by with. Last night I changed in my car in a busy parking lot at an athletic complex!

I guess you could do your makeup at the club but it's best to do it in your car. I've gotten good at this and can throw it on in about five minutes and get compliments. You should also be able to tweak it once you get inside.

As far as the wig goes I say DEFINITELY WEAR YOUR WIG!!! I could honestly care less about boobs but after doing the Susan G Komen events I decided to wear them whenever I go out. That and my gut sticks out further than my chest. Complete the look!

That's all I can think about now for that problem.

PeggyNell,
Once you've done the fully dressed bit when driving you soon get comfortable with it. If your makeup is good and the wig suits you then don't worry if others catch a glance of you. I hope you can get it all together soon and start to enjoy being out.

Last time out I had to drive across country and find the home of another member of my social group, I totally forgot I was dressed and in broad daylight went to her front door, when I knew I had the right house I walked back the car to get my overnight bag as I was staying over , I'm not sure who saw me but I was perfectly comfortable in that situation. We were going to a barbecue so I was wearing a long sleeved blouse, a denim skirt with 2" wedges and a dusky pink suede jacket, we had a great time .

Thanks for all the feed back, I have a uniform that I changed in to for work. I am at work now, and was planning on leaving from work to the club after running some arons. I freshly shaved Friday afternoon. I wasn't too concerned, but As I was changing for work I noticed that I have significant stubble on my chest! Now I have a 3rd thing I am worried about if I should go or not. I hope there is a dollar store some where on my adventures. I can get a razor there and touch up. I am comfortable with out make up for now, but I do not want stubble on my cleavage!
For the wig, yes I am going to wear one, I have not took the time to get it all brushed out. I hope to not look to trashy, but I am going to a Club in Atlanta. Like the song says, I like my women a little on the trashy side.
Oh! P.S. I am going with a beard. I go back and forth with this. But ultimately at the end of my process I want to be all GG on my outings!👸

Ok, up date. I had a very good time.
I was nervous starting out, because I thought I would have to leave straight from work to get there, I didn't want to do that, but I was determine to make this happen.
Luckily I had way more time that I thought. I went home, was able to get a shower and shave. I even had time to get a bite to eat. But the real bonus was I had a friend text me about what I was doing. As we texted I asked did he want to go. He said yes, and that was a big load off my mind. I don't mind going out dressed by myself, but The support of a friend is so huge to me. He is also the friend that will help me with my make up when I get some. It was also the first time we got to hang out. Last night was a big time for first's!!😅
Even though i did not have everything I want as a CD I made do with what I had. This was just the second time I was out dressed around other people. I got a few compliments and the others just acted like it was no big deal.
The next time I will be seen by other I will want to have everything perfect! I will have my Make up on, my nails done, my hair fixed. The whole nine yards!!

If you are not shaving your face, I don't think you need to worry about shaving your chest.
