I'm not sure where I heard this quote,
but it pretty much sums up my mind set as I
take this giant step. In my mind, there
is no going back now.
I won't bore you with the details of how I
came to realize what I am and how deal with it,
it is a story you've heard many times
and many of you could tell it yourself.
As of Oct 1, I was 59 years, 2 months, and
4 days old.
Oct 1, 2016, I began taking
feminizing hormones. I've always had a reason
not to begin hormones, but, about a
month ago, I concluded, there
will always be reasons not to begin. I
decided Oct 1 is as good a day as any.
So here I am.
Following are a few details about what
has happened so far.
I am 6 feet tall, about 183 cm, and weigh 175 lbs, about 80 kg.
I have not cut my hair for 2 years, 8 months.
For over 2 years, I've been taking a DHT blocker
which helpsnhair growth on the scalp and helps reduce
body hair.
I began electrolysis to remove my facial
hair, 1 year, 7 months ago. I've had 181 hours
of electrolysis, and I am finally getting
some results. I still have a lot of
whiskers on my cheeks and neck, but not so
much on the front of my face. I hope to
be pretty much whisker free in 6 months.
I've recorded all of my measurements. I work
out with weights a few times a week and I plan
on continuing to do so. I've recorded my maximum weight
and reps for a number of exercises. I plan on tracking my
measurements and strength on a monthly basis to
measue the affect of the hormones and track my progress.
I have also taken a number photos. I plan on tracking
the visible physical affects, also, on a monthly basis.
I've been reading about and evaluating hormone
regimes for over 2 years. I believe the regime
I've settled on will give me full femization in
about 2 years.
