I've written a song about my personal feelings with crossdressing and have the instrument tracks (premix, pre-effects) to go with it. I'm not puffing myself up but's a pretty cool song artistically and even borrows a lick from Randy Rhoads only on the flute. It also has a bad to the bone saxophone solo with a chromatic run near the end. One of these days when it's too cold to play outside I'll mix it, put on the effects and maybe lay vocals and post it here. For now here are the lyrics. I love being able to have the best of both worlds. It totally makes me put up with the worst of both worlds. Having said that I think that the good in this equation way outweighs the bad for me.

We are all not just one or the other. It truly is a sliding scale between male and female. For me this changes from time to time. I have been trying to figure out what bring either on for me, but I had no luck figuring this one out yet:)

I love that tune from Flower Drum Song. I have sung it in my head many times and thought about its implications. I actually like many musicals and that one is included. I am not sure whether its my fluid nature or that fact that my parents took us to free local performances of plays and musicals back in the 60's. I am grateful for them doing such no matter what.

So despite that fact that I understand it not, I embrace it, enjoy it and swoosh, let me swirl my skirt around singing that tune.:)

I agree, Dana. it is very fun to be both. I especially like to dress like a girl and not be looked at like a guy in drag. No one can tell I am a guy when dressed as a girl. This is the first time in my life that I have shared my thoughts about cross dressing to anyone and it's kinda fun to see the posts of others who enjoy cross dressing. I thought I was in an extreme minority and didn't realize just how many guys enjoy this as much as I do. My favorite thing to do is to really take my time putting the makeup on and the short skater, circular, or flounce skirts, black and brown opaque tights, the wide elastic belts, the riding or slouch boots that go up to the knee, the right wigs that match up with your eyes and skin tone (for some reason the darker colors of hair look better on me than the blonde wigs), and then go pose for photos of me with my camera on a tripod with the self timer on. The photos are many and they have helped me tremendously by giving me direct and quick feedback as to what works and what doesn't work. I usually take photos of me in about 8 to 10 different outfit combinations throughout the photo shoot. The pictures are always taken inside and never outside. Mainly because the self timer makes a beeping noise right before the shutter release happens and I never know when my neighbors on either side of my house are at home. After undressing which takes time to take off the makeup and the finger nail polish (both take a while on how to do it efficiently and effectively where there is not a shred of evidence left as to what you've been up to for the last four hours or so). I upload the photos to a computer and then delete the ones that just weren't darn close to perfect. That's my favorite thing to do while dressed as a classy sexy girl. I have been blessed with the right body to be able to pull it off quite easily. It's fun, exciting, and a bit nerve racking because my wife would not approve of it. That's really the only thing negative about me cross dressing. But out of respect for her, I keep it in the closet and will have to continue to do so until I get caught in the act which has never happened yet. That's it for tonight. Another great song..."A Pretty Girl is like a Melody". Our local charity had a big fund raiser vaudeville show and silent auction. I was asked to join 5 others to do a skit, dressed like women, to that song. What fun. The director wanted us to look as female as possible even hired a professional make up artist. Was I in 7th heaven ? Absolutely 👗👠💄. My wife is very supportive and suggested I not act too eager. I told her I'd do the best I could. 😉 I was the only one who asked for false eyelashes but two others asked for them when they saw mine. We did a great job and got a standing ovation. There was a banquet after the show so I had to change back to my suit ☹️. After, three women came up to me and complimented me on how beautiful I looked and how I did the skit in heels. Wow...Wow...and Wow.
I, too, enjoy what I consider the best of both worlds. I will never know what it is like to be a girl, but I totally know how it feels to look like a girl. The reality is...I'm still a guy.
