I've never been so fortunate. Doubly lucky is that everything fits you. How do you suppose the stash got there in the first place?

I was going through a bunch of empty bags (or so I thought) in a basement corner. I found a forgotten thrift store belt in one of them. I immediately needed to put on a pair of capris to see how the belt looked.

Back in February I came across a wedding dress I hid under the cellar stairs and forgot about twenty years ago.

It's pretty wrinkled rolled up in a bag, I was thinking of getting it cleaned but they take up so much room.

Not just that, Judy - the exorbitant cost of getting a wedding dress dry cleaned (and sometimes expertly packaged and preserved for long-term storage) is one of the biggest rip-offs out there. A pure manipulation of the heightened emotions of just-married GG's who still have stars in their eyes and want to preserve the memories of that "magic moment" for posterity (well, yeah, until the inevitable divorce about 5 years later when the "loving" couple realize that they actually can't stand each other once real life gets in the way).

Unless the dress is visibly soiled, I suggest a thorough steaming with a garment steamer to take out the wrinkles (and the inevitable musty odor), followed by a liberal application of Febreze for added freshness.
