Tomorrow I'm going to a friend in another city to celebrate Halloween.
I'll be going there via buss and train and decided to travel there while dressed.
I'll take advantage of the cold weather here to almost fully cover myself.
I did take a small walk tonight around the neighbourhood to warm up, but I'm still unsure if I'll do this or not.
I've attached an image of my getup.
I think my clothes will probably draw more attention than me being male since most people here wear black during winter.
I think I'll be ok as long as I don't have to speak to anyone.
It would be fun to know if more people here like the same kind of clothes :)

It's intimidating but have faith! Most people are too absorbed in their own lives to notice you and the ones who do will mostly ignore you or at the very worst giggle behind your back. We here in the states tend to think of Scandinavian countries as more "socially enlightened" than us so I'm guessing you'll be find. Heck even if someone does give you a hard time "Hey, It's Halloween!" Deep breath, screw down your courage and and just do it!

Something I have thought for a long time, with regards for the need to travel.
Every great man should possess at least one dress to call his own, in case there's a need to escape for your life.
Traveling in Femme, and cultivating the brazen confidence to do so are essential life skills.

I notice you're in Sweden. The outfit is not my cup of tea. However, I think it works well for you assuming there is not a sudden heat wave. If it was not for the fact I am six foot tall wearing clothes that keep us warm in the winter months does a lot to conceal identity for anyone. I can imagine boots, tights, a midi dress, coat, hat and scarf in zero degrees in Chicago or Buffalo. A pretty face is about all one gets to see in severe weather anyway. Go for it.

I think that outfit is overly traditional and more appropriate for Christmas themed time. Fall colors include red, orange, plaids, etc., not just black although that is very common.
I'll share a story with you. I wrote about it here: http://www.crossdressers.com/forums/showthread.php?240299-Travel-Log-A-long-weekend-in-skirts-and-dresses&highlight= I went on a three day trip in the summer time. One thing that made it easier for me was that I packed only my women's clothing (except for my bike kit). With no back up boy clothes, it was easy to relax. I was "all in," so to state.
What I chose to wear, you can see in the link, was typical summer clothing. I think that works better to blend in than covering yourself up to the nose. You might be ok on the street, but in a bus and on a train, you will overheat. I can only advise that keeping your head up, eye up, and engaging the normals will actually make your trip less stressful. As is written here frequently: own it

Nowadays people are too absorbed with their mobile phones to notice anything going on around them. If I saw you dressed like that I might glance but nothing more, I suspect that would be the norm. I may try something similar myself one day.

Good cold weather outfit! I might wear something like that if it was cold enough! (I live in North Carolina in the USA and it seldom gets in the 20's) I say go for it! I think you will be just fine with that outfit! Hugs Lana Mae

You can't live your life worrying what a stranger might think about what you are covering yourself with. You look just fine. Go for it!

So I decided to go for it.
I'm currently standing at the trainstation waiting for my train 😀
So far I've only got some curious looks from people but nothing more.
I'm quite happy right now 😀

I'm thinking that with that many clothes and garments on one body, no one will be able to tell if you're M or F.
This is interesting, because I traveled by air yesterday. I became somewhat preoccupied with Woman Observing (which I'm always doing, checking out clothes and how real women wear them, etc.). HOW to travel "en Femme" became an interesting proposition.
I think I could do it, but I wouldn't be able to PASS. Flying in Femme would certainly be detected at one of the security points; and I'd think that the TSA would be interested as to why I had a MALE identification and a FEMALE dress mode. Yeh... that could be a give-away.
But as far as what to wear and how to do it, other than the security concerns, I think I might be able to dress appropriately and do it. I may end up explaining myself to some little old lady in the middle seat (who can clearly see under the makeup). It would be an interesting thing to do, if just for the experience of it.

You'll do great! Just have fun. Most people won't give you a second glance. :)
