Happy Halloween All!
Couple things, first off has everyone seen Demi Lovato's Halloween costume, wow, she went as Dorothy! I'd switch :)
So quite a few people at work are dressed up for Halloween, I am, but sadly not in girl mode. Anyways one of the interns is dressed up as Katy Perry, and he looks amazing. I'm pretty sure this isn't the first time he has been dressed up. Either way good for him he looks great.
That's all Happy Halloween All,
Cheers,
Erika

And this is an example of what I keep telling people. Do too good a job and they will know this isn't your first time.

Yeah I went to the Halloween party at the club. Dressed as a zombie girl. Was the only male dressed. LOL had Mary Jane pumps and looked sexy. The girls all talked to me and liked it. Shook every male hands and they just greeted me as normal. LOL did a real good job and the gals had no problem with it and the boys, oh well.

Did not dress this year but have plans for next year to dress as a-what else- a female nurse! Perfect since I am a male nurse. I am sure residents and staff at the rest home will get a blast out of that! Could not get it together this year but have been planning this for five or more years! Next year is the year! Let's see white skirt, white bra, white blouse, white hose of one sort or the other, white shoes, Blonde wig, etc. BTW told one of the staff(I am not out to the staff) and she said be sure to wear the breasts and hip pads. She knows about my mani/pedicures since she suggested the place. You do not think she knows?? Sorry running my mouth! Hugs Lana Mae

Many people dressed up today at our offices. Two guys dressed up as women. I'm a closet CD and truthfully, I felt that it was in poor taste. They didn't dress as women but as guys dressed like women. I know that it is Halloween. It's a chance to get away with crossdressing in public for those of us closeted but these guys really were more embarrassing than anything else. One of them was someone named Harley Quinn and the other was a version of Dorthy from the Wizard of Oz. It is possible that they were just taking advantage of the day to dress but the way they've been acting all day really has made me think less of them. I've seen some of the faces that some women have made behind their backs.

No, do too good a job and other CDs suspect because they are looking for it and the muggles just say "wow...great job!" Do you really think the non-TG people look that hard? "Gee...Bubba, that Frankenstein costume looks awesome! When did you get the new brain?" Amazing
Addendum: For years I went out to Halloween parties dressed as a woman. When I finally came out as 24/7 VERY few people said they saw it coming. Most were shocked and confused. ZIt's Halloween people, you dress in stuff you don't NORMALLY wear in public in the majority of cases. I don't think people who dress as firefighters are firefighters at parties

I did after a few years hiatus. It was fun. I was supposed to be mother nature.

I agree with Lorileah.
Yeah, I'm sure with some there might be a few who think what Krisi describes. But even then, does it truly have a lasting impact?
And seriously, how hard is it, if one is truly "concerned," to simply say thanks & then volunteer that you had some help from your wife/GF/sister/cousin/GG-friend/neighbor/whatever?? A comment like that is not going to lead to a snowball of white lies. Sheesh.
Yeah, you might want to ease back on the heel-height of your shoes. (Nothing wrong with wearing flats, ya know!)
BTW, ever measure the heels of your *guy* shoes?
I was always honest when it came to this Halloween stuff. "Thanks for the compliment! Oh, how? Yeah, I did my own make-up. Learned by watching YouTube." Blah blah blah. Really didn't care, personally.
That said: I also *didn't* volunteer my entire decades-long dressing / gender history, either! I suppose I could have went into further detail, how I started wearing make-up when I was like 13, for example. And with a couple people, I did just that. But most didn't need to know -- and most wouldn't have thought that, either.
Anyway, repeat after me: It's. Just. Halloween.
Stop letting your "guilty" conscience get in the way of things. :)
