This is really no different from so many other similar stories on this forum but I wanted to share it none the less..I have been crossdressing for many years but never really ventured outside of my home unless it was 3am and no full moon (lol) . Lately thanks to the members on this site who have offered advice and encouragement to others I have for the first time gone outside en femme in the daylight.to pick up my mail at my apt. complex I have in the past gone on drives en femme and even bought gas on occaision but never en femme and on foot....Now this involved a distance of 50 yds or more each way..All the time I kept in mind the most often piece of advice given and that was to project an air of confidence..so my heart rate was only 120 instead of 200...(again lol). Surprise it worked...although I did not run into anyone I almost wished I would have . So as I write this and stare at the lipstick smear on my wine glass I want to thank you ladies out there for the advice and encouragement we give each other here.:battingeyelashes.

Wow! That first step is the hardest and it certainly gets easier. I'm glad it went well for you.

Congratulations 👠👗 it will get easier with each (ad)venture out. For me "blending in" is my objective. You just don't see heels or hose, lots of makeup, etc. around here (sad). Even with feelings of elation, I am common sense careful...watch the speed limit, etc. I recently went to Payless shoes, tried on several pairs and bought two pairs. The SA was very nice. 😉 Later, to Macy's. May the force be with you as you move to the next level.

It is the little steps that give us confidence to move on! I have taken a daytime drive and done the mailbox thing! I also swept off the back deck and it was the first time my breast forms were outside!! LOL (I had used breast enhancers for the drive and mailbox-~B cup vs C cup!) Hugs Lana Mae

Yes that is certainly true..I believe the secret to blending in is to dress accordingly..I have to order on line from payless since I have never seen a size 12 at there stores...returns are easy so not a big deal..thanks for well wishes..

Ronnie it does get easier; I just got back from the store picking up some adult libations enfemme, and had no problems whatsoever; it gets easier. Accessories make the outfit!
