Lately I have been going out more and more . fully dressed . I am getting out more to do ordinary things and errands, like grocery shopping , shopping at stores , meeting friends for dinners at restaurants and this past week I went to an appointment my doctor partly enfemme . so far so good . It gets easier and more comfortable the more I do it . contrast from a few years ago when I would literally tremble in my shoes to walk out into anywhere public .
I have more or less decided that for now , I do not want to transition with any surgery nor with hormones , I want to keep the option and lifestyle of switching from boy to girl and so on. I am pretty happy with my own cd / mixed gender ID
Part of this experience has led me to taking a male to female voice class that is held in one of the universities near where I live . Its a free class that doubles s a research study for the school. There are about six cd and t girls who attend this class intermittently .
I have gone a few times , and it is a good experience that builds confidence to be in public and in feminine presentation .
Last night there was one cd-trans woman there who I have become friends with . after the class she asked me to join her at the javitts convention center in the city for the election party event for the dems candidate .
She had two e tickets and her original guest bailed out at the last minute . so around 9 pm i found myself inside this event with tens of thousands of people gathered to watch the election returns . This was The official event for the candidate and her party .To get in we had to wait and walk in long lines and we had to go through tsa and scret srvice screening . We made it in and quickly found ourselves mixed in with this very large crowd and swept up in goings on of election night .
it was a pretty amazing experience . Aside from the political aspect , and in terms of being there in makeup and heels , it went very well . there were no awkward incidents , no bad comments . And only a few confused but not hostile stares.
