This is me!

I was reading a post the other day and it really opened my eyes. She was saying "This is who I am. This is me!". I don't know why but it changed my attitude completely. The next day I said to the world "This is me!"

I dressed and spent the next 2 days out and about and didn't worry about it. I traveled and checked into my hotel. I went to breakfast, lunch and dinner. Did some shoe shopping where I had to ask the SA for sizing. Went to a few makeup counters for help and topped it off with a movie and the casino (OK I'm an old hat there).

Now I do not pass, but for the very first time I can honestly say I didn't care. I don't recall who wrote that post but I want to say thanks.

P.S. I'm writing this having just returned from dinner dressed again! For reference, photo is filtered on Iphone but not shopped.

Sometimes, the less you care, the better you look. I think it's just about impossible to judge "passability" from a still photograph, if it even matters at all. But your look is lovely, appropriate and feminine. It's all you need. I hope you can recreate the attitude on your future excursions.

"This is me" hit the whole me a while ago. Not a preference...not a life choice...just me.

If I was a quarter century younger, I'd would have made the change (without surgery) when the world first started to recognize LBGT rights. Now, it makes no sense. Still! I love femdom and who I am.

The world is good for all of us. I just have to keep feeling this all the time.

You do look great so being you isn't a problem, as you say why worry about it.

I must add that going out the door does change the CDing situation , thoughts of passing fade away it's not long before feeling comfortable takes over, it's not an act the fact is , " This is me !" is the only way to put it.
It's just as well you can feel like that because there are so many other things to think about and become accustomed to, a handbag for one thing, it's great to have everything in one place , and then other femme items you overlook like glasses ( If you have to wear them ) .
One thing I have noticed is keeping warm and dry , almost every meeting I've been to has it rained , keeping the rain off hair and makeup , trying to avoid puddles because heels don't give the same protection as male shoes. Then there's the aspect of keeping warm, you certainly notice the difference when getting in and out the car, that cold breeze where you don't expect it can bring tears to your eyes !

I have often wondered about how strength and self confidence conditions the reactions of others. It seems that when people see weakness they respond by "attacking". So, if you are out and dressed but looking embarrassed and weak it prompts others to be critical of you and treat you badly. On the other hand when someone is dressed and looks confident and clearly is unconcerned with what others think it seems to prompt people to leave that person alone.

So being out there and having the attitude of "this is me" also makes you project confidence and strength and people respond to that and leave you alone. I have seen many examples of bizarre dress in public , for example take a look at some goths, yet they walk tall and look proud and people may give a second glance but otherwise leave them alone.
