View Full Version : Transgender Day of Remembrance - Sunday, Nov 20, 2016
In memoriam.
Some are too close to home. A trans woman was attacked last week 2 BLOCKS from where I live and where I walk all the time. It started as a robbery. When it became apparent she was trans, she was knifed and hatcheted in the back. She lived (for once).

Heartbreaking. It's a harsh world we live in. We have to be cognizant of the ignorant reactions that are visited upon us. In fact, We actually have to be much more vigilant than the average single female. Without that kind of constant awareness, we can become part of these gruesome statistics.

:Pray:A day to remember those we lost. For me I read each ones name , and say a prayer for each. Just a little thing I do, to honor them. And praying for those they left behind.

It hits home when it is so close. I scrolled down the dead list this morning. There is no need for any of it.
