The one liner compliments are great. Thank you all. Even though the words are short, the meaning is long.

Joanna: I just realized you are a "California Girl" !!. I was until the NW grabbed my attention big time. Been here 16 years, but in California 37 years. I saw California really explode since the early 50's until I left in 1988.

I was a California "Girl" at one time, and now a "snow dog"

Thank you for the beautiful comments.
Love
Marlene

Thank you so much for posting such lovely pictures of yourself. I can only echo all the compliments you've already received. There used to be a shop in the Embarcadeo in SF callled "Pins" that only sold stockings and pantyhose. I used to walk by and drool every day. That and the wonderful Parklane hosiery store on Market Street. I never went into Nordstrom's, but now there is one here in Charlotte and my GG and I plan to go tomorrrow. Keep searching that server and posting hot pics of yourself. We love it!

Hi Julie:

Yes hopefully there will be. I have known Susan for years, and she is quite a good friend. We both live in Seattle, and I recently ( like tonight) introduced her to this great forum.

Thanks, Julie. It's wonderful to be aboard this train of trannies! By the way, I'm trying to learn how to post a picture, and hopefully, I'll figure it out soon. Thanks, again. Susan

Wenda,
In a few posts back, Marlene referred to herself as Snow Dog, because she moved to Washington and liked it. As you may or may not know, people who live in the northwest and moved to Arizona or Mexico during the summer sometimes call themselves "snow birds." Well, Marlene took the opposite approach and called herself a Snow Dog, as in reference to the UW Huskies, I presume, though I am guessing. However, it actually doesn't snow that much in Seattle, where she lives. So, I corrected her as rain doggie, since we get much more rain than we would ever get snow.

Did that help?

The reference to "Snow Dog" refers to the Northwest "Huskies of the UW" ( University of Washington) for you football fans.
We call the UW, the "You Dubb", and the players are the "Dawgs", etc.

I am a great fan of the "Dawgs" having played football in high school ( ancient history)

As you can tell, we love the northwest, rain and all.

And yes, I am a "rain doggy" as well.
