There is a planet name Yolulu. There are many species in this planet, but only two are sentient; Krakian and Burian. Both species are co-living together peacefully for a long time. However, because of their physical body differences, they have different society expectation.

Mainly, Krakian is a specie with greater physical strength, and Burian is born with weaker strength. There's no gender for both species. They can reproduce on their own (for the sake of visual, imagine they are all big aliens and small aliens.) Back in a primal time, Krakian is doing most of the labor work such as hunting, while Burian is doing a support role. Both were doing what they were good at with their bodies. And in their society, the strong is respected, so naturally Krakian was assumed a leader role. Therefore the society forms the expectation that Krakian is expected to be strong and Burian is expected to be weak. And that the strong should help the weak, and the weak should support the strong.

As time passes, the civilization comes such that there are tools and devices that allow both species capable of doing the same thing regardless of physical body strength. Both species also have same mental capabilities, so in reality both of them can do exactly the same thing now. But the society expectation is still derived from the past regardless that Krakian is expected to be strong and Burian is expected to be weak.

First of all, if you have read until here, thanks for reading my amateur story :) So, based on the above story, here're questions:
- What do you think are pros/cons of both species regarding the society expectation?
- Would you rather be a Krakian or Burian?
- Here comes the part where it's related to CD: What do you think would happen if Burian wears a typical cloth of Krakian, or Krakian wears a typical cloth of Burian in public. Basically, they are cross-specie-dressing :)
- Any other questions that would be interesting regarding to the two species with different society expectation?

I have my own opinions written down below, but I'm really interested to see how people are thinking about this situation.

IMPORTANT: Now, to not be biased, you should think of your own opinions first before reading mine below.

Okay, you have thought yours? :) Well then, here're my own opinions:
Krakian pros:
- Being respected more naturally without doing anything much.
- Given more chance to do more challenging work.
- Won't be an easy target for a bully/offense.
- Easier to gain respect and be a leader.
Krakian cons:
- Making a mistake has a major negative impact to life.
- Cannot show weakness, even when you have one.
- Expected to help the weak, no matter whether you want or are capable of doing that.
- Would be disrespected by society once you do anything considered related to being weak.

Burian pros:
- Has more freedom to try doing anything without having to worry much about being disrespected (assuming one cares about being respected.)
- Is more forgivable by public when making a mistake.
- Can show weakness and would still be accepted by society.
- Is being offered help more naturally.
Burian cons:
- Being disrespected naturally from the beginning.
- Given less chance to do challenging work (because society expects you to be weak and thus don't trust too much on you.)
- Being an easy target for bullying.
- Harder to gain respect from others and be a leader.

Now between Krakian and Burian, I personally don't prefer either one above the other. Both seems to have the same amount of pros/cons to me and I would just give it up to the natural to decide which specie I will be.

Regarding to cross-specie-dressing, I think when Krakian wears Burian's cloth, the Krakian would probably be projecting a weakness and being looked down by society. When Burian wears Krakian's cloth, society would probably think it's strange on Burian, but would still accept it because Burian is already expected to be weak. And by wearing Krakian's cloth, one shows the strong appearance and would not cause an issue on Burian whose the expectation is already low.
