View Full Version : Which Forum Should I be in...

Ok, I've wandered on the Crossdressing Forum for a while. But I'm unsure if I should stay, or move over to the Transexual Forum. I'm seeing a therapist now in hopes that I can start HRT soon. I'm more comfortable dressing and presenting as a woman than as male. It's hard for me to think of myself as John, all my thoughts inside are as Joan.
My wife said that my face has a feminine look to it naturally. My hands are tiny, all the gloves I have are a man's small. My chiropractor, told me that my hips are flared open more like a woman than a man. He has tried and tried to get them to close, but no go they are open. I'm 5' 9" so I'm a little tall but not by much. My wife is jealous of my hourglass shape, we measured me and if I lose a bit of my tummy I'll be truly a hourglass.
For the longest time I haven't wanted my male parts, any of them. I've lost track of how many times I've written in my journal that I want it to be gone. I'm willing to keep what's between my legs for my wife. Not sure if she is interested in using it though. She has made it clear though that if it goes, she goes. This week has been a bit of a learning curve for me trying to read my wife. So she told me "I want you to be happy, and (gesturing to my feminine presenting) if that makes you happy I'm all for it. Doesn't mean I have to love it." So I've got a wife that is willing to help, but I'm not sure about much else at this time.
Would the fact that I might keep what is between my legs disqualify me from the Transexual Forum? Because I'm looking forward to the day where I won't get "sir" anymore only "ma'am". All of this makes me think I should be over in the Transexual Forum. Could you ladies weigh in for me?

Try both for awhile, and what ever fills your needs stick to it

The forums are supposed to be open to anyone so you can participate in either or both.

I don't think the "forum police" are gonna drag you away for posting in the wrong forum. Use both! No zero sum here.

..
As well you know, there is no "supposed to be" about it, everyone can post in any forum they have access to, unless a specific posting request has been made. You of all know this

Why not use both?

Joan,
If you prefer to divulge information to members and not visitors it may be better to use the TS section. I feel from the way you describe your feelings and needs you will receive some helpful replies.
I must admit having a natural 37" 31" 37" ( UK size 12 ) and 5' 7" tall , does make CDing easier and enjoyable, apart from a little extra in my bra I don't use any padding. OK nothing I can do about large hands and UK size 8 feet.

Poor advice as the TS forum is a public forum and is open to visitors to view

I would think there is a lot more visitor traffic in here than the TS section. I would be there except for the fact I don't want to get rid my the one "male part". Maybe if its not broke (that might change any year now) don't fix it. Don't know if I would fit on the TS side, but at times I don't think I fit here either.

Post wherever you want.
There are quite a few here that feel the way you do so don't limit yourself to one section of the forum.
Personally i wish my male parts were gone completely but that would have no bearing on where I would post in the forums.

Nigella,
I stand corrected, I did think M/F was the only open section, in that case I'm surprised TS section isn't members only.
Perhaps you would like to offer a constructive suggestion to the OP !

This was offered to the TS membership who decided that it should remain an accessible forum to those who were looking for answers/guidance but were not members

The answer has always been there, and to repeat myself, members can post in any forum they have access to, only two things are relevant, they cannot respond if they do not fit the criteria for a specific posting request, the other is that any threads must be relevant to the forum they are started in. Where a member belongs, well that's up to them.

The Save Haven fits the privacy need. I personally think it is important that the TS forum is open. I read it without posting while posting here in the CD forum for a long time while working through who I am. Reading both can really align your thoughts. Once you read both for a while, you can start to see who you think more like and it can answer a lot of questions.

"Divulging information" doesn't have to be a problem. Most people here don't use their legal names and it's not necessary to post where you live. If you don't post photos where you can be recognized, you are about as anonymous as you can get. It's your choice what to divulge about yourself.

This only affects UK users. The part I bolded. New legislation comes into force in 2 to 3 weeks where all your internet records will be accessible by ~ 50 government departments. Some of these departments are intelligence agency ones like you'd expect... others are benign like the Food Standards Agency! What the hell business or right should they have to know I post here or what type of porn I watch! It's pretty outrageous in my opinion.
Im going to buy a VPN subscription this week and get it up and running on my devices. There are technical restrictions that limit my choice of provider (I will be using one Id rather not - but I run a very wide range of Operating Systems and my hands are tied on that one for now).
Im willing to do a write up if any other UK users are similarly hacked off at Teresa May's attempt to bring on 1984.
And sorry OP for the thread hijack - please post anywhere and everywhere thats relavent to you. There is no place you are not welcome.

There is a difference in us. I consider myself a femme male not a man. What do you figure a man is? I only say this because a man wouldn't be caught like me. But I love me. Then what is a transsexual? No one like labels except me. It allows me to be as beautiful as I can everyday. Having your removed might be the deciding factor but it doesn't mean you have to do it. More than likely there won't be panty checks any where. Or be sure to wear your panties all the time. I don't own any man clothes. Can you make the decision?
