I hope everyone had a good Christmas.
A funny thing happened last night while my wife and I were opening presents which made me think "If only she knew"
On Wednesday I had a Judith day and got to wear my new navy glitter dress. This dress carries a sting in its tail.. it sheds glitter! So when I saw getting back into boy mode I noticed that I'm covered in glitter! Not a huge amount but enough to raise a question if spotted. So... major scrubbing exercise in shower to remove said glitter.
Fast forward to last night. We're unwrapping presents and suddenly I notice that my jeans are covered in glitter (from wrapping paper), enough to compete with my new dress. Can I get the stuff off? No! Wife giggling fit to bust at my predicament. And I thought, "If only she knew!"

It seems like glitter can never truly go away so at least now you have an excuse if she finds glitter in the future.
That said, if you can find any possible way to talk with your wife about your crossdressing, I suggest you do it. Life is so much simpler for me since I told mine. There are just so many things that can go wrong when trying to hide from her. Glitter, as you mentioned, wig hairs, makeup smudges or tissues with makeup on them, jewelry left around, bras and panties, etc. It's almost impossible to keep this secret from someone you live with.
I remember having to vacuum the whole house and then try to make it dirty again so it didn't look like I just vacuumed it.

Funny this morning I thought I was putting on lip stick. Should always wear my glasses in was nail polish glitter all over this place. But she knows and she will tease me about it today. Hope everyone got what they wanted this year. Merry Christmas all.

Glitter is just like dust bunnies ( especially out in west Texas ) no matter how many times you vacuum or sweep, there's always another one that shows up that you missed. My theory is that they secretly breed and multiply at night when we sleep.

Glitter. Know it too well. Have a dress with a silver skirt with silver glitter. It sheds. Just bought a top from dress barn (a lovely one at that) with red glitter on it. Yes, it sheds. Guess what, I don't care! Maybe when the Christmas decorations are put away for another year, I will have to be more careful. But that's what vacuums are for.
At least, they help as was previously mentioned, I, too, believe that glitter multiplies while we are sleeping.
Glitter may be the curse of us CDers. Glittery, shiney clothes are just too hard to pass up.

Ha, If only you had known, you wouldn't have had to work so hard cleaning up. :D

That will be good for the next six months anyway!

Can't see that happening and ending well :(. Mind you, I don't CD at home, so there's on me to be tidied up not the house as well!

Oh the things we have to do! I'll guarantee that making it look dirty again, convincingly, was much more difficult than the vacuuming in the first place!
As for glitter multiplying in secret ... glitter, fluff and confetti all appear to have this ability!
Miranda... I did my best to cover her and the cat in said glitter but she was just beyond reach and the cat was too fast!

I took my time driving up north last summer to visit my parents. Stopped at a few thrift stores along the way and tried on some dresses. Even bought a few. Sitting at the kitchen table that evening my mother asked why I had glitter all over my face. Sure enough, the bathroom mirror confirmed my fears. Glitter is like a neon sign for being outed.

Great story, I tend to stay well clear of clothes with glitter :D

One of the first items of clothing I owned was a black long sleeved tunic top that had a band of Diamante stones around the collar. They were forever falling out of their mounts and turning up in odd places. Washing it was simply a nightmare. Lets not talk about using the tumble drier. My SO would say "I've found another of these glass beads, where are they coming from". It had to go.

Have you experienced glitter fingernail polish? The stuff is like cement and once it's on prepare for it to be there for a while!!!
I noticed while having Christmas with my family I could see the sparkle through my socks. I kept trying to keep my feet covered.

There IS Something worse than glitter. Sequins!
My bedroom floor shines like King Tut's tomb did from glitter AND sequins. I'm still finding sequins there from outfits I haven't worn in years! (I can tell by their color).
