Sometimes I wear panties and a silk slip under my mans clothes. There is a real feeling of satisfaction when only I know. I wonder how many other cross dressers feel the need sometimes, when you can't dress fully, to wear lingerie underneath normal clothes. I have many pairs of girly panties and often were them under my normal stuff. I have mens brief type undies, which really feel little different from knickers, and make life less complicated as you're not having to hide them in any way, like when bending over or when changing, ect. And bras, to me that's just something to hold your boobs in place, and if you haven't got boobs on... again if that's your thing fine.

During the winter when the weather is cooler I tend to wear Vanity Fair nylon panties. In the summer nylon tends to be too uncomfortable with the higher humidity. I stay with white and black which will mirror colors most men wear. In addition to a nylon panty I would suggest pettipanties or pettislips which are usually the same garment. They are not overly feminine. They comes in various lengths designed to be worn under dresses/skirts or as a pant's liner. They are also worn under skorts.

It's getting to the point where it is all or nothing. These are all stepping stones to take, it's always a little more next time or maybe more daring.

Right now I'm in a warm pleated wool skirt, blouse, longline cardigan, and wedges, in an hours time I will pull on some waterproof overtrousers , a warm jacket leaving my forms in to walk the dog along the footpath behind my house . Much more comfortable, especially the waistband. If circumstances permit, I will also go out to do errands in some combination of women's jeans, a top, bra and camisole with a touch of discreet lipstick but I usually try to do errands on days I can't dress (I can only dress about 2 days per week about 8 hours at a time). Circumstances that permit being able to hide all under a winter coat. Often just a camisole and panties underneath if I don't want to show boobs. No slips. But panties, yes always. Some very pretty, lacy and feminine, some very practical and comfortable, some specifically made for sports activities. Always panties.

For the doctor's office, a pair of plain black high-cuts. Plausible deniability...

I'm working on my panty collection, and getting rid of my male underwear. Little by little, I haven't worn any male underwear for at least the last month and a half, but dang it's a pain keeping up with the laundry so I don't run out of panties. I have to agree with Tania. Perhpas donning a pair of panties is a way of playing "I got a secret." My wife wearing a plain white cotton brief panty. I sometimes do wear a Vanity Fair nylon brief under my jeans because I love the feel of nylon. I also wear a nylon panty to bed with or without PJ's. Again, I find nylon to be sensual. I tried underdressing several times since joining this site. And, I mean not just a panty. It was a bra, and camisole, a panty, stockings or thigh highs held up with a garter girdle. I found it complicated using a restroom. How many times has my wife told me it takes women longer to pee because of all the clothing that needs to be undone? Too many times. But, otherwise in the end I totally forgot I was underdressing. I've dropped the underdressing except for the occasional panty under the jeans or when my neuropathy in my legs is too bad I will don a pair of control top pantyhose. I do not get any feeling of "excitement" underdressing. If I did not get anything out of doing it, then I surely would not want to be drag out of a car after an accident wearing an 'all in one' body briefer, stockings, etc.

The comment was made about wearing men's briefs made with material usually associated with female undergarments. They do not give me the same mental feeling as women clothing. A nylon underpant with a fly for peeing? Back in the 1960's there was some men's shirts and underpants made with nylon fabric. I tried them because they were the " in thing" and not because nylon turned me on. Nylon was uncomfortable and non-absorbent. My wife says the same thing and therefore opts for plain cotton.

I always underdress wearing panties, thigh highs, bra with small forms, and frequently a top, or cami, and sometimes even a slip or a dress that's of filmy material but only with a front button shirt that's a size too large. If I go to the Doc, its tighty whities only. If I know there's even a chance I might get a hug, no bra! Re: slip and dress, they don't really bunch up, but just gather in the crotch area.

Thanks to a Christmas present, I am getting into wearing matching bra & garter (suspender) belt sets.

I have a lovely black garter belt, which has a 6 deep hook clasp. It holds me and shapes me like a corset. It is so comfortable and it holds my stockings nicely. In fact, I forget that I am in a sexy belt plus sheer stockings, except when I sit down, when the tug of the suspenders over my bum is wonderful!

The combined snugness of the bra & garter belt makes me feel so supported and confident.

I have been wearing elegant lace trimmed panties for quite a few years now. I find them sexy and exciting. Recently I have found Bali scanties that are really comfortable and sexy as well. They have elastic leg openings and fit snugly without pinching.

I do enjoy the feel of the stockings against my legs. I am now ready to face the day properly dressed from the skin out. I can't wait to get back home and slip off the drab and enjoy the freedom of my soft lingerie as I walk around and relax.

I am addicted to slips and collect vintage elegant slips from all over. I often purchase many of my vintage slips at estate sales and love the excitement of wearing another woman's lingerie. I wonder as I'm wearing if she enjoyed it as much as I am. I wonder if she ever had sex while wearing the slip I have on. What were her dreams and expectations as she put that slip on for her day or evening date? So many juicy questions unanswered.

My real dilemma is that while my wife of 20 years knows, however she does not approve and does not ever wish to see me "dressed" in my slips or panties. I am careful to observe her rules. Laundry is done when she is not home and my collection is in an unused closet. So I am a closet lingerie gurl. I love to shop the sales and on line to find just the right new exciting purchase.

What you do is very common. Sometimes referred to as underdressing I just find it to be normal dressing. I only wear female lingerie beneath male clothing when I go out dressed as a male. If the weather is right, I shall wear a camisole or a slip and sometimes stockings. Unlike others here I am not embarrassed when I go to the doctors. It is not as if I am flaunting myself but the doc is not interested in my clothing just an examination.

I was being examined by a dermatologist who was just checking for any signs of skin cancers. Usually he just looks at my chest and back but the last time he asked me to take off my jeans so he could examine my legs. I was wearing a very nice and clean pair of panties and neither he not his nurse blinked and eye. I'm sure that if I had worn a pair of silk boxers with hearts printed on them they would have taken no notice either.
I have been on stage making a speech or giving a presentation and for those occasions I always make sure I wear my best looking lingerie. It does give me an extra thrill.

I'll take a stab at it. I have a number of pettipanties which are often called "split slips" which are made for wearing under skorts. Velrose and probably other labels carry 'snip it' to length on the legs. There are usually three lengths you can snip the lace to adjust the length. The longest petti slip/panty I own has a 27 inch side seam (waist to hem). Velrose also made (discontinued) a panty with a very short slip attached to it which seems to just cover the butt. I have one on order. If this thread is still on going when it arrives I let you know how much of the rump it covers. I noticed those type of panty slips are also sold on eBay by Asian manufacturers.

The other option is to take a regular full slip, measure the length desired, shorten and reattach the lace at the hem. There are plenty of offerings on eBay for a basic white, black or beige Vanity Fair slip. I love lace on my slips, but, if one is so inclined there are many basic slips that do not have lace at the hem line. It may not look pretty if you chop one to desired length without finishing off the hem, but, it may be the best you're going to find.

I do think just stuffing a full slip's skirt into a pair of jeans may leave an unsightly looking butt.

I wear trouser socks almost everyday, except on colder days when I wear pantyhose. Panties always. When I can a sweater at work, cami and bra. For shopping at mall, I will wear women's slacks and a blouse, sweaters in the winter. I am in 1 to 3 inch heels, depending on pant length. Wedges on conservative days and heels on more adventurous days. I like wearing women's ladies pantsuits. I can pull this off very easily and it is so nice to know I am dressed from head to toe as a women. It is almost disappointing. I also like to wear make-up on my outings, so I will apply a liquid foundation, light powder, taupe eye shadow, mascara and a sheer lipstick. I top this off with beige or taupe nail polish. The vast majority of people to not look closely. I have worn blouses with the bra beneath clearly visible through the fabric and not have had anyone notice.

I wear Jockey girl's boy shorts - mostly black in color - every single day regardless of what I'm wearing. I must have about 40 or 50 pair of them in assorted colors but most of them are black. The colors they come in consists of: black, red, an egg plant color, khaki, orange, green, and royal blue. Next time you're in the Jockey outlet store, pick up a few pair and give them a try. I made a comment (#94) concerning the length of slips that may be worn when underdressing. I ordered on eBay a Velrose brief that has a petti slip attached to it. Well, it arrived yesterday. It is vintage with all tags still attached. It was made in the USA which really means old stock. The white brief has a side seam of ten inches. Attached to the panty, but, not at the waist is a petti coat of lace. So, it is really a petti coat attached to a nylon brief and not a slip. The length of the petticoat from waist to hem is 15 inches. That is short considering the customary natural length of a full slip is usually 26 inches, waist to hem. I do not have any dresses that have a natural waist to hem of 15 inches. It is ideal for the younger crowd who may wear a real short flirty dress with a wide sweep at the hemline. Or, if you're into French maid outfits this is ideal for you. The entire petticoat portion of this garment is lace. It is really really sexy. A nice additional to my slip collection even if I do not have too many opportunities to wear it.

Having read the replies from everybody, and I think we all agree that women's panties feel so much better under men's clothing, is it because of the material used, or the fact that we are wearing women's clothing underneath and we have a little secret? Would you feel the same way if a company brought out a range of men's underwear using women's materials but were marketed as men's underwear? Having thought about it, for me I think I would stick with women's underwear, if nothing else but for the buzz it gives me when I am wearing women's underwear.

The lingerie website Herroom also has a 'Hisroom' with supposedly sexy men's undies, but I'm thinking, "What's the point?" They just look stupid and gross. Women have it so lucky; I wish my wife would ditch her everyday grannie panties and ho-hum bras and have some fun with her body, but she just doesn't get it. I keep all my frillies in the basement and change down there, being sure to keep cycling my men's undies into the laundry, even if they are only worn to go upstairs to change for pajamas.

I walk a 3 mile loop every day with as little on over my bra and panties as I feel I can safely get away without being detected. Yes, particularly under business attire when working. Usually panties, thigh high nylons, sometimes a bra. Sometimes garter belt and nylons, sometimes girdle and nylons. Houston heat and humidity make under dressing very uncomfortable for about half the year. Usually no male socks to cover the nylons, perhaps a bit daring.

Funny story, one day on the elevator a female coworker friend of mine who is very "touchy feely" rubbed my back and felt my bra. I can definitely recommend the silicone breast enhancers - roughly four inches across, and mildly cup shaped. Once I get my bra on over them - rather insert them in the bra - I press against them and they act like a gentle suction cup. In the past, I've tried rolled up socks, water balloons and cut the padding out of my wife's bra that I know she'll never wear again, but these breast enhancers are the BEST; for those of you thinking about how to make a close fitting shirt look excellent.
