My wife and I went to see the Nutcracker in Houston right after Christmas. The ballet was great and we really enjoyed it together.
(We are DADT)
While I did enjoy the ballet production and loved the many outfits and dresses worn by the performers, I could not help but see all the beautiful dresses worn by many of the ladies in the audience, and wish I could be dressed as nice. Perhaps one day the chance will come to attend a dress up affair as Molly.

Nice Dreams,
Molly

Hi Molly,

I love The Nutcracker. Yeah, how fantastic would it be to go dressed in a beautiful gown?

During the Christmas season I've shopped for women's clothes for women and have gone with them shopping for them. It made me crazy looking at all those wonderful clothes and couldn't buy for myself. My wife and daughter are around for a month! No Christina, no dressing :-(

I too would love to get dolled up in my best feminine finery and go out to the theater or somewhere similar. Like you say Molly, a dream, for now.

Events such as concerts are actually a pretty good place to venture out dressed. The focus is on the show, and the demographic tends toward the well-educated, polite and tolerant end of the scale. Of course, DADT in your case, but otherwise one of the better venue situations.

Hi Molly,

I know exactly how you feel. I have a beautiful evening dress that is just looking for an occasion to be worn but had so far been doomed to remain, like myself, in the closet. Maybe someday...
