I know all of us have seen a beautiful woman dressed to impress. Has anyone gone out to find the same or similar outfit? I saw a lady in her late 20's in a grey jersey mini dress and knee high black boot, now I have to find that look. Dang being a crossdresser cost a lot. :heehee:

There have been many very impressively dressed women that I have seen that I wanted to re create their look but unfortunately, most of the time, finding that exact same outfit, shoes, even hosiery is almost impossible. You never know how old the clothes and stuff are so they may have been off the shelves for years.

Ah Impressive women, Yeah it is sometimes hard to find the same thing. They may have the stuff that off the selves. and they look so fine.

Yes - here is my latest

There is also another post from last year where I was told I looked like a German model - the person sent the picture and I posted my recreation.

I also tried it with a younger Daryl Hannah picture, also posted.

Yes, but to date only few and far between. And I have a board on Pinterest full of ideas I would like to try.

This is the lastest - Blue shirt, white skirt and brown heels. For me it is more about stealing their ideas. If I see a woman that looks really good in a certain style I might try something similar to see if it works on my body type. A lot of times the style won't work with my body type so I try to keep it realistic as to what I can wear. Big bulky sweaters and sweatshirts while they look very attractive and comfortable just work to make me look body builder huge or fat.

I was driving home from work tonight and crossing the street there was a women I would say about 50 to 55 years old. My GOD she knew how to wear it, black 3/4 length jacket, black leather skirt just over the knee, black pantyhose and I believe 3" or 4" closed heels. I could tell the pantyhose were the expensive smooth silky kind and the heels looked name brand. WOW! My eyes almost popped out of my sockets. Well I guess you know what I'm wearing now don't you. Thankfully I already have a leather skirt or it would have been an expensive night.

I tried. I bought a cheongsam (and shortened it to a mini dress) and a black bob wig with bangs. I don't have the body or facial features to pull off the young pretty petite Asian woman, but it's still fun trying.

Yes and my closet and wallet have felt it! But I still do it on occasion. I'm a nut about uniforms and business attire!

I had it happen once! I even found the dress! It was in a red geometric pattern, but that color was sold out! :( So much for my recreation! Hugs Lana Mae

Hi Sara:hugs:, I have done that quite often, If I see a particular fashion that catches my eye
I will try to duplicate the look from my rather large collection of clothes...:daydreaming:...

I usually decide on the look I want long before I head for a night out. Often that has come from a woman i have seen and thought she looks so good in that outfit. Never been able to work out exactly why she always looks so much better than i do, I think it is my memory playing tricks with me :D

I thought Mrs Trump looked beautiful at the Inaugural ceremonies in her powder blue outfit.

I truly appreciate a well dressed woman. She doesn't have to be wearing expensive "labels" just presenting herself well. Regrettably I still struggle to find the look that's right for me, and build an appropriate wardrobe. Yes I have some things that I look good in, but more by accident than design. Don't want to think about how many times I've missed the target completely and returned item after item.

Funny...my wife compliments me constantly for the things I buy for her. She frequently asks my opinion when we shop together for her. I just chalk it up to her being able to make anything look good.

Yes... I have spent hours in thrift stores looking for the top I saw in a picture. I have even pulled out my phone to check the picture agents the blouse I had in my hand. And I wore the WRONG blouse when I went out. Fun question, thanks. Brenda

Leanne - very good job. It is tough to get every detail, especially when no one can help pose you.

Womens styling certainly influences me. If I see something that really catches my eye I, as often happens, I'll use it as guide rather than directly copy.

Sure. Cheerleader, school uniform, lots of things I've seen girls wearing IRL. After all, I don't have a female's fashion sense. Much easier to copy someone else that looks nice. Goes along with the dream of actually being like them.
