Last night was a typical evening in that I did my makeup and got dressed.Instead of visiting this site like I usually do I just sat around did some reading and watched some Television. If I sit too long in front of the computer when I get up it's hard to walk in heels(getting old you know).I stayed dressed for a few hrs,It was enough.Lately I find my dressing periods getting shorter than they used to be.I usually like to stay dressed all night.I can dress whenever the mood strikes and for as long as I want. The moods seem to be getting shorter and I'm starting to worry I may start feeling the effort is just not worth it for a couple of hrs Karen time. Today for some reason I was feeling really down so I felt in need of some Karen time ,I got all dressed with wig and wearing only lipstick(I just love a smear of lipstick on a coffee mug or a glass) .I feel so much better right now.Who knew crossdressing would be a cure for the blues. I'll enjoy my Karen time this evening and hope things will look better in the morning.

I have periodic bouts of depression. You are not alone in this. Being trans/CD can be a hard road. I'm not sure what I can say that would help. I hope Karen has a good time.

Sounds like you need something new! Maybe just get out and about. Change lipstick colors, get a make over at a make up counter. Move forward on your journey it sound like you have stagnated! Hugs Lana Mae

Perhaps reaching out to members who interest you and starting a personal relationship will help. Recently, I have met online a couple members and have had a wonderful time sharing stories, feelings, and ideas. One part of being older is that we have a lot of these to share!

I'm with Lana Mae. Mix it up a little. Or a lot, but it's amazing what a little change, like a new lipstick color, can do. Just add something new to the routine when you start to feel that way.
Hugs,
Kelly
