Yesterday I got the bug, I got dressed up and went to the Local mall, even though I have done this several times it still can be nerve racking, after showering and a close shave (face & legs) I put on a pink thong my fav, black haynes silky Pantyhose, blk womens dress shorts and a womens sweater (it gets cold in so cal also) and my new 3 1/2" heel loafers, I put on some lite makeup and did my nails in a lite pink ( toes are red), Well I got there and after about 10 mins I got out and went in threw Macys I walked threw going between the racks to not get noticed right away a few people did notice and just stared in disbelief, but eventially I had to go down the main Isle, pretty much everyone noticed at this pointmost people just stared some looked and giggled or laughed but no hassles, I was on a mission to go to this store called Torrid, a plus size store (im a 14-16) with hip fashions, as I walked around I got the courage to go in, at first no one noticed as I broused, then it started the sales girls noticed me and what I was wearing came over and asked if I needed help, I said I was just looking, I kept looking picking out a few items then one of the sales girls asked me If i wanted to try on the items i selected I said yes, she took my items which included a skirt and escorted me to a dressing room, as I tried on the itemd she came back and asked if i was ok i said yes, there was some giggling from a few customers in thr dressing room area then i figured out why I was in my room with my shoes off next to the door which does not go to the floor, the must of seen my feet with no shoes on pantyhosed feet with painted nails, but again no hassles, as I finished I went back out to look some more, found a few more items to try on, then broused some more, the store thinned out some and I got the courage to try some shoes on I asked about this one pair but the didnt have my size, I tried on another pair but didnt like the look on my feet, the sales girl did comment on my toes and toe ring said they looked nice, well it was getting late and I decided to check out I got a pair nice jeans and 2 pairs of beaded flip flops 1 bwith brown beads and 1 with pink beads, I checked out with no problems I used a credit card and had to sign my name the girls noticed my finger nails but said nothing, all in all it was an awsome time there they were very professional and helpfull, next time I'll try on some dresses, so if any of you girls need a plus size store with todays fashion remember Torrid, they also have a web site Torrid.com. oh one more thing after I paid all my items were put in a very Pink bag with their name on it I had to walk thru the mall carring it talk about getting noticed!!!!
