So I reported for jury duty today. Scince I have no male clothes I wore black skinny jeans with leggings underneath boy shorts for panties a black turttle neck sweater and women's champion sneakers . I had a great day. I feel like I blended in so well since I don't own any male clothes anymore. I didn't dare to wear a bra for fear of passing thru a metal detector.

Did you go through the selection process? Did they ask you for your gender? What did you tell them or put down?

A metal detector should have been no problem, I wear underwire only and have never had a problem with any metal detectors.
Any question of gender would have been on your notice from where ever they get them. I think in Maryland they come from Driver License. They only address you by name, no titles like Mr or Ms.

Richelle, sounds like you dodged the ole metal detector, but for me that detector shakedown never gives me a second thought.
Not sure how it is where you live but here in TX they use your driver license information on the juror form.
So if your name and gender marker are male on your DL that is how you are identified regardless of your femme appearance, I was on jury duty 2 weeks ago and wanted to crawl under the court when the judge called me sir in front of about 50 people, but of course TX is the last place on earth to join civilization
