It also turned you invisible unless I'm misunderstanding the picture.

Sorry! I'm not a photographer, and didn't have enough time for waxing, hair & makeup so it was just my Frock! SORRY!

To each their own, Stacy!

Since it never occurred to me to try on women's things until I was 50, I did it the other way around. I started dressing back then in ordinary, plain house dresses.
Now, in my 70's I portray women in their 20/30's!:D

I have only worn dresses. No pants! Never! Oh, male wardrobe...OK! I've found through observation that a woman who has kept her figure can tastefully wear the same dress in her forties, fifties, sixties, and, probably seventies. I'll know about the seventies soon. I'll never ever dress like my grandmother or mother in their seventies. Never. Ugh!

Stacy,
It looks a lovely dress, I can understand your comment .

The turning point for me was when I jumped in the car for the first time in a full length ballgown and met others in a social group, it was a buffet and dance, to go from closet to being out just made the woman out of me, and there's no going back .

I'm one of the eldest here. I dress 40 years younger then my age, but never ****ty, because I "missed" those years. I will never dress my age!

Sounds like a pivotal, fork in the road moment in your life.

It's bright and pretty. If I get what you're saying, this dress is a departure from trying to look like a 20-something babe. I suspect we all go through that phase, and as one passed 40-50-60....it becomes clear that a woman can be attractive, stylish and even sexy, br in a different way than our 20-something mental image.
