Complications relating to tucking?

So this topic is driven mostly by paranoia, and my tendency for rabid anxiety over any health related concern.

But, I'm kind of wondering if anyone here personally has had complications relating to tucking? Of course, I've heard the theories that doing so can cause damage down there, everything from infertility to cancer. All from tucking for a few hours now and then?

The reason I wonder is because for the past week, I've had some discomfort in the area and I don't know that it's even related to tucking, because I haven't done it very much as of late. I'm having some kind of strange prickly feeling and discomfort in the groin. It almost feels like some sort of muscular strain, but I'm not sure in what way that would even be a valid diagnosis in that area. I've been reading online about the various conditions that can occur, including vericocele, which I'm not familiar with but is a possibility.

I don't want to badly harm myself tucking, though I can't help but adore the results of doing so, especially with a nice fitting pair of jeans. It's not as if I over-do it, but I'm starting to question where does the line need to be drawn? At what point am I facing serious health risks? Is tucking every now and then simply too much? Or am I letting my anxiety get the best of me?

I recommend you see your doctor as soon as possible, just to make sure you are okay. While there, be honest and tell/ask him the same question you posted her. We have some medical doctors on this site, but most of us are like you. We only know what we read, so call your doctor tomorrow for an appointment.:hugs:

If in doubt see an MD. One thing you can do and should do on a regular basis even if you didn't tuck is a self examination to the testis. Just feel each one for any irregularities, and lumps or bumps. They should be fairly smooth all over. If dome regularly you'll soon know if there's anything untoward.

I had a problem, down there, a few years ago. All sorts of thoughts ran through my mind and I got it a docs appointment soon as. Turns out it was a simply cyst and cleared up after a few weeks. Not happened before or since, so related to my tucking?, couldn't say. But,as the saying goes, if in doubt, get it checked out.

Think I'm right in saying that Sumo wrestlers routinely tuck, since crotch blows are legal in that sport. It isn't just us lot. I wonder if there are any crossdressing Sumo wrestlers?

Take a big enough number of people and you'll find somebody who blames their testicular cancer on tucking. Doesn't mean they're right though.

If your insurance lets you pick without a referral, look for a urologist. If you have no insurance, go to an emergency room at a teaching hospital around 5 a.m. and hopefully the urology residents will soon be in the hospital making rounds with an attending physician so you'll get to see a specialist the same day.
