Hi ladies :)

It's been a while since I posted but thought I'd give an update on life in the hope of giving some inspiration to some.

So, a bit of background. I told my SO a year before we got married as I didn't have the courage to do it sooner as I thought she'd leave me.

Any way we have now been married 1-1/2 years and 2-1/2 years since I told her about my feminine side. It was tough in the beginning but with persistency and reassurance things are ok.

Last weekend my best friend (who has known for about a year but never seen) and his SO came to our house for a drink and the inevitable karaoke that always seems to happen when we're all together. By midnight we were all pretty merry and singing Celina Dion to the top of our lungs when he pipes up - "why don't you do your thing". Of course being merry and not caring to much I went a done a quick make up of my face, put my skinny jeans and white heels on with my sparkly red toes showing and came through to let them see. His SO said "I knew you'd look better than me" but was very supportive and nice. My best friend literally did not bat an eyelid. My wife was in shock :) but was ok.

The next morning (all still drunk) I awoke with the make up, gold ankle bracelet and feeling like "what the hell happened" but still had the feeling of I don't care anymore. I threw on my dressing gown and went through to the kitchen where they were already drinking coffee. Ok I'll be honest and touched up my makeup before heading through as you would. But I sat at the table in front of my wife with toes on show and we sat and had our usual post party discussion for about 2 hours until people started having showers etc.

My wife was feeling more and more at ease sensing that our company was very blasé about me being me. They DNGAS.

So it's been a rollercoaster and things will never be 100% but there little moments make my life as me worth living.

"pro tip" Always do your makeup BEFORE consuming alcohol.... lol When "it is no big deal to others" then you are correct..Acceptance will come easier..

I'm pleased for you but do be wary of the effect of alcohol on your ability to make good decisions.

Awesome story! And great friends. ;) More than that, a door has opened for your wife too. You may have to wait a bit to find out if it was positive or negative for her. Here's hoping it was positive and you two can integrate this into your lives. :)

Now, as Pat said, your wife may have a female friend to talk to and about crossdressing when she feels a need to do so. Could be good or not so good, but she can vent, if needed. And for you Peach, don't push the envelope with your wife. Be her man, too.
