I'm sure some of you have experienced this before, when your wife, kids, of some other person that you know is talking about you and refers to you as "she". I mean I've done it myself, calling my daughter him or my son her, well anyway you probably get the drift by now.
To get to the point I've noticed that I'm being referred to as she more often that this would normally happen, or so it seems. My wife knows about Donna but I don't think anyone else does. My daughter has even said I was pretty! What's going on here?, do they know, do I have more fem features of manorisms that I think? Or am I just being paranoid about this.
I guess it's possible that other people know or have known for a while for that matter. I say this because I've been dressing for 30 years now and although I thought I was discreet you never know. Over the past year or so I've also been posting pics of Donna and who knows where some of them have ended up.
Would it be so bad if other people did know, well if they do they don't seem to be treating me differently than they ever did, so I guess not. I must admit that part of the fun of cd'ing for me is keeping it a secret and the thought that I could be caught at any time excites me. Let me know what you think.

Donna -- I've had people refer to the male me as she. It's sometimes disconcerting, but I don't say a word.

The first part of the above quote in red...:iagree:
The second part in green.....err I'm not sure about that, but I do know what you mean about it being thrilling but for me, not because I think I'm gonna get caught, more to do with a feeling of liberation.
As far as being refered to as a "she"...well obviously, my wife Marla does this when we are out and I am en femme, but it's never happened in to me "guy mode"....yet.

Only had it happen once, in a restaurant. Waiter saw my hair from behind, I had delayed in getting it cut, and when he arrived at the table, said "Evening ladies." Saw me from the face and became flustered.
My wife slipped and commented the one day how "cute" my hair looked. :) It's naturally curly when it gets out to a certain point. She usually just asks me when I'm going to get it cut. Maybe it was a combination of the hair and earrings.;)

I seriously doubt that your pictures have ever been viewed by anyone who doesn't have an interest in crossdressing or crossdressers, let alone forwarded to others who don't.
If anyone has an experience to the contrary I'd be interested to learn of it.

I wouldn't stress over it dear. Just today, on another (straight) forum, I was playing a game called "the person below" with a couple of women. The game is basically making a statement that the next poster has to answer, then pose their own question.
Well, I was struggling to come up with something, and since they were women, I took a gamble and said "TPB has tons of makeup". Well, one of the ladies responded "Yes" (of course), and then asked
"TPB likes to crossdress". Luckily for me, another poster answered. I'm not sure how I would have answered it, but my first thought was "OMG, how did I give it away?", and then realized that it was probably just a throw away statement with no thought behind it.
But I'll admit it made my pulse race for a few minutes. :D

Once I was shopping in drab in a Big Lots outlet store. When I went to cash out one panties I was buying did not have a upc tag on it. I told the clerk that it was the same price as the others, but she (the clerk) turn to the manager and asked for verification. As they discussed the issue they referred to me as she as in she wants to buy this and she said it cost ...
I didn't say anything. Since I was in drab, I thought it was almost rude. However, I did enjoy the acknowledgement that the panties were for me.

It dosn't matter to me if someone refers to me as female or not. When someone does refer to me as female, I secretly take it as a compliment anyway.

While I have not revealed Deana to my wife, she has made several comments about how "girly" I am, and has of late been leaving her panties in my laundry hamper Does this mean that she knows, I'm not sure but I definitely think she suspects.

I was shoping in drab in a womans store just the other day and as I was looking at some lovely blouses I was approched by a clerk who asked "May i help you mam?" then she saw that I was not what I would like to be. She was so embarsed and appollogised. I hope that I eased her mind when I told her that I was just shopping and did not mind her calling me mam and in fact I took it as an compliment. We smilled at each other, she went to help others and I continued with my shoping. Paulam.
PS. I hope that my spelling is forgiven

The other day a lady on the phone said yes maam, oh excuse me sir! I said I don't mind being called maam. I told her I actually enjoyed being accepted as a female. She got flustered and hung up.

That reminds me of yesterday when I rang Amazon.com about a minor problem. Everything was fine until she started reading out the items on order and she came to "Crossdressing with dignity", which she read out. From that point on she became very flustered and subsequently referred to it as "That book". :heehee:

My mother gets confused sometimes and either calls me by my brothers name or by the dogs!!!!!
Our daughter quite often calls me mummy which is nice (she doesn't know) but that is usually happens when she is looking for mummy to tell her something and finds me instead.

Hi, Donna
If you post pics, you had better be prepared for any possibility. It sounds like it wouldn't be the end of the world for you if some found out, and that's a good attitude. Why live in fear?
Myself, many of my older friends know, and eventually came to realise that I'm still the same person. I'm not about to walk out to my car dressed in front of the neighbors, or go to a friend's house as Melissa, but I really, really don't care who knows.
Being referred to as she, her, or miss? Hardly ever happens in guy mode, but it would be fine. Cool, even.
Hugs,
Melissa:)

Happened to me at work a guy referred to me as she. It made me a bit nervous that my femmy mannerisms are perhaps bleeding over from the weekend to work and he was subconsiously picking up on it.
I really concentrate on my walk and how I project my body language during the week while in guy mode so as not to give off femmy signals. When I learned how to do femmy mannerisms I also accidently started watch how men walk.
I noticed that President Bush and Tony Blair have almost the same walk. Its almost like a swagger but not quite that. I started micmicing that and it works pretty good. So CDing as taught me a few things about being a male in my work life. LOL
