Hi ladies! I know much has been written about hormones etc, but I have slightly different question. I've taken the plunge and decided to embark on the transition path with HRT and was wondering if any of you can tell me how long it was before you felt things starting to happen - breast tingling, growth or tenderness of the nipples etc. I know it depends on a bunch of factors but some inside information would be helpful.

I saw a doctor several months back, and she prescibed 3mg per day Estrofem to start, but I didn't start with them then and moved cities, and finally decided that I wanted my breasts a little bigger and started about 10 days ago.

Any information/replies would be most appreciated. Thank you!

I've been on HRT for 2 1/2 years now Jodee. I 'm on Premarin, Provera, and Spironolactone. I started noticing results probably within a couple of months. I 'm a full A cup hoping to get to a B before I'm done. For being on it as long as I have, I have to admit the gains in my case...have been somewhat moderate. I'm going to be on this for 6 months more and that's it. That will complete the 3 years I planned originally to do this for.

I don't plan on transitioning...it was never a consideration. I'm happy more or less with the overall results, but some of the side effects have made this a somewhat difficult ordeal. I can't honestly say that I would recommend doing this unless you plan to go on to do SRS however....but that's just my opinion based on my experience with this.
