what you had planned for today. After a disastrous outing yesterday for a mani-pedi, in preparation for today's scheduled makeover, my makeup artist had to reschedule as they changed her work schedule. I understand that things happen that are beyond our control, and I'll try to look at this as a "glass half full," kind of thing.
I don't think any divine being is trying to tell me anything, but I won't be buying a lottery ticket today. This delay might just be a blessing in disguise. This just gives me another day to make sure everything, with my aura, is more closely aligned to the way I want it to be. Today, shopping for the right color nail polish, and picking out some new earrings. Tonight, a nice relaxing bubble bath, and some landscaping (can't really call it manscaping, can I?) Tomorrow morning, a really close shave, attach what needs to be attached, tuck what needs to be tucked, then get dressed and go get my makeover at 10AM.
A man can work from sun to sun, but being a woman, well, that's a whole other euphemism.

Geena,
Yes, life does sometimes change our plans. All you can do is roll with the changes.
Have a great day tomorrow. Or the next day, and the next..

Hugs, Connie Marie

I never believed in karma, or good or bad luck. Stuff happens. Tomorrow the opposite might occur. There's no way to know. However, I will always remember this line from Rod Stewart's 'The Killing of Georgie": "Never wait, or hesitate, get in, kid, before it's too late. You may never get another chance."
Carpe Diem.

Sorry to hear about the disastrous manicure and pedicure. I had one recently. The lady who did my feet and painted my toenails was very nice and accommodating. The lady who did my finger nails was a bit of a pain as she kept on making comments about my having polish on my toe nails. She kept looking at me and saying "Color?" (her English was limited) Bit weird but she happily took my money and told me to come back soon.

You have a very good attitude about plans getting changed. I know a few that would be frustrated and down because everything falls apart. Good luck on the makeover and the mani-pedi, bet you will look and feel like a million dollars after them.

Everything happens for a reason. Bad mani-pedi... I had polish remover to take it all off, and picked up some S.H. Color Therapy polish, which I kept inside the lines 1000 times better than the tech I PAID to do the job in the first place. And the pedi... the nubs will be nails again in a few months

But now it's time for me to start a new thread --- Geena's day at the races...

Actually Geena, My mani/pedi, place went belly up. So now we have to go to the old one or find a new one. So yes plans change and I hope that your makeup goes better. A cash register noted my nails today and said they look great. LOL But I am a month overdue and they will have to do a lot of work to them as well as the pedi.
