Hi girls, quick question for you all: do you ever think about female celebrities (i.e. singers or actresses) when you're all dressed up?
Being Irish, I used to think of the corrs sisters (Andrea and Sharon mainly) when I was crossdressing in my teenage years.
I used to love their style in terms of what their worn. If fact, they were one of the reasons why I fell in love with long skirts (that and the fact that I grew up around women who wore long skirts nearly all the time.) :heehee:

Never have thought about the celebs but now those lipstick commercials and those girls in them with those luscious lips, oh yeah I have thoughts about them.

Back in the late 70s and early 80s I had a thing for Kate Bush and modelled my look for a while on hers. Nowadays I don't really think about any individual but women in general.

I don't think of them any more when I'm dressed as a girl, than when I'm dressed as a guy.

Not really. I'm mostly interested in what they're wearing and how I'd look dressed like them.

I do and it changes throughout the years. I like punk women like Siouxsie of Siouxsie and the Banshees, Debbie Harry and Bekie Bondage of Vice Squad when I was younger. I loved their style as well as the music, I would think of them as I did my make up. I always had a thing for Lily Munster and still do, the first goth mom. As far as feeling romantic I like to think of Kim Novak, especially when she was in Bell Book and Candle. I guess it all depends on my mood, whether I am feeling romantic, dancing, or just walking about. I do daydream a lot too.

Never !!! I could care less about what they wear, and more specifically, their opinions on things that really matter to me.

In all my years that is something that has never come-to-mind. I guess there might have been an occasional coincidence or two. If I see a celebrity wearing a nice pair of shoes or dress I might covet having my own versions but it wasn't because it was a celebrity wearing them and it definitely did not make me want to emulate them. I use to get the same sensations out of the Sears Catalog. :D

Just like you, when I first started CDing, my inspiration comes from watching Janet Wood (Joyce Dewitt) from Three's Company. Not the Janet from the earlier episodes, but the later ones where she wears office/professional clothing, like skirts/blouses/blazers. To this day, I have found that particular ensemble to be attractive and that type of clothing is in Wendy's closet.
