Hi everyone. I have found a swimming costume that I would love to wear to the beach. Just wanted to know if anyone else has done this and get some advice on going out in public for the first time in it.

I do know a secluded beach with hardly anyone on it, that I could go to.

This is the costume in question.

I would so buy it today (all my one pieces are blue and I'm fedup with blue)
If you don't like it, I'll swap my bikini with you
I forgot the secluded bit, but there is this amazing and popular beach near home

Advice - have a very good shave/wax

Cool. I'll do it.

When I get it I'll take a pic of it on me.

Good idea about shaving your legs too :)

I would suggest not wearing plain white. Some get translucent to transparent when wet, revealing shapes and details you may not want out there on display. Anything with a pattern to hide , e.g., bulges, the edge of forms, etc. would be a practical choice. YMMD.
Also, as I learned in my early days of trying to muster the courage to get out, you will find people everywhere and anywhere, usually when you least expect it and whem they are least welcome, so don't count on secluded.

That said, good luck and I hope it goes well for you. Bring back some pictures.

Rhonda makes an excellent point about "stuff" showing through a white suit.

Years ago the US Women's swim team had special "white" suits made for them. They were essentially see through when wet and EVERYTHING showed through. The law of unexpected consequences strikes again!

Good Luck and please let us know how the adventure turns out.

I have a one piece swimsuit. However, it has an attached "skirt" to hide the... abnormal feminine look, that I might have.

I would go for a darker colour or pattern to disguise the body a little.

That suit looks fine on the GG model. But, how does it look on u, Michelle?

I went to our local beaches in SoCal twice. Once in lifeguard outfit and once in a wet suit and went boogie boarding!

My wife and I went to Waikiki last year. We rented a car and drive the island one day, until we found a stretch of beach that was relatively not busy. I wore a swim skirt and black top. Honestly, I would have been ok going to the main beach in Waikiki, but she was not comfortable with doing that.

This is probably the only time I have gone out in full Allison mode.
