I’m on vacation this week and I’m supposed to be in Vegas. Instead I’m home dealing with a situation that involves one of my roommate. I still feel I need to get away for a while, but these road blocks keep getting in my way. Like I need to get my roots done. My hair dresser who is also a close friend of mine, is having a rough time. The soonest she can see me is 2pm today. I could just skip it and have she do it like next week, but she really needs the money. I feel like I’m being forced to stay and deal with this mess. Yesterday I needed a break so I went to the bar where everyone knows me. Played pool by myself, I could have called my BFF to come play but I really wanted to be alone. In a bar where everyone knows me? Yes the people that were there don’t play pool, or not with me, they think I’m a pool shark. After a few practice games it’s off to the tanning salon, where it’s” Hi Jean how’s your day, you look pretty in pink”. I’m wearing a tee-shirt material type dress above the knee, gray with tinny pink horizontal strips, Pink Levi jacket and grey two inch sandals. It’s now about dinner time so I stop at a local dinner, they know me there but not by name. I was done eating when my BFF calls. She knows I’m having a rough time and doesn’t want me to be alone. I told her I was going home and would call her. I did and we are going to get together and do something today. I talked to my other roommate this morning and hopefully this matter will be resolved.
