I work at VF Outlet. Last week, I was working with a female associate, when our acting store leader brought out two mannequins, one male, one female, and told us we were having a contest to dress them however we wanted, in accordance with the dress code. She looked at me, and said, "Let's make it interesting.... YOU do the female mannequin." So after some debate (do I go with juniors/misses, casual/spring/summer?), I finished. I think it shocked most of the female associates that I put together what I did. Found out later it's for a corporate contest. 275102
How did I do?

Allison,
I couldn't help myself my effort would be far more girly, I would have chosen something i would love to wear and tell them it was a dream outfit !
Darn, I want that outfit. (Except for what seems to be a green/teal handbag -- I'd go for a warmer color, but I'm a warmer person. ;) )

Pat, I was going with red at first, but the teal was more springlike.
Teresa- We're only allowed to wear black or gray shirts, and denim pants, which severely limited my options. However, women can wear a top that is multicolored if the main colors are black, gray or white. The shirt I chose is one of the shoulderless blouses, which by itself would not be allowed, but with a black shrug is acceptable. I went with Wrangler capris. Believe me, I would have thrown a skirt on her if I could have!

Got caught out once doing something similar, the girls felt my knowledge of female clothing was a bit convincing.
They called me Beverley from then on. :-)
