Birthday pr4esent to myself!

I've had my ears pierced for close to 30 Yrs! Don't wear any earrings in drab but cant get dressed without putting in earrings. I've always wanted a second set of holes. My birthday was last Friday and I decided it was time for a gift to myself. So this morning I went and had them done! Not just once more but twice!

I'm setting on top of the world. I'm old enough to not care what anybody else thinks!

I wear various glass colored studs (fake diamond, ruby, emerald, amethest, sapphire, very inexpensive from fleabay, that way if I lose one, I just replace it for a few bucks)with magnetic backs. To decrease the irritation, I wear a large size magnet against the skin, with a smaller one on the back of that one. It provides better attachment, but doesn't pull as hard into the earlobe due to the increase in surface area. After a few minutes, I can't even feel that they're there most of the time. Have a few pairs of dangling hoop clip ons in silver and gold plate, also inexpensive (how they get those tiny springs inside those hoops amazes me).

I wear earrings in drab all the time. Have several types of studs and diamonds, plus several hoops including a pair that have a female look. No one says a thing.

I've always wanted to get my ears pierced but my sister held me down and pierced my ears when I was 6 and they got infected and I've feared it ever since. Would love to have some nice dangling earrings!
