Everything went better than expected

I came out to a female friend of mine while having lunch with both her and the only other friend I trust with my dressing, who is also female. She was quite fine with it, and agreed with me when I said I thought men's clothes were boring, dull and not even functional enough to justify their dullness. We all talked about some ideas for outfits for each of us, but then something I never expected happened. They convinced me to go shopping with them at Charlotte russe! We all tried on clothes, and I ended up with two new dresses and skirts. Without them there I wouldn't have been able to go to the dressing rooms or really shop in public at all. None of the employees or even other customers said anything rude or gave me the evil eye. Now I just need the courage to ask them to help me with makeup.

Here's my favorite thing from that trip. I know it's a little shapeless, but it hides my stomach, so it looks great on me!

Isn't it great sharing this with female friends rather than a guy, and being accepted and one of the girls. All of you are on the same page as wanting to talk girl talk, shop girl clothes and complain about underwire bras. I'm pretty sure when you are with them you can express all your feminine mannerisms to make you feel even more womanly. Sounds like they aren't a bit concerned about what's under your panties, they just enjoy you being another female.

My girlfriends forced me to dress for a shopping trip, insomuch as the made it quite awkward for me to go out as a guy with them, I looked the part and they needed a foursome at the time. After a lot of encouragement and cajouling it was out in skirt and top to shop with them for a Saturday night outfit.

I do miss all the encouragement and comraderie I had with those girls.

Great story! It's amazing you got to go shopping with your friends right away. That's definitely the best way to get introduced to dress shopping for yourself. Having that kind of moral support is fantastic. So you see now it really is that easy to shop in person. In no time, you'll be able to go into any store you want, any time, and shop. Because the sales assistant is your second best resource for judging how a dress looks on you, if those amazing friends of yours can't be with you.
