Women In Long Dresses/Skirts Wearing hairbands

I don't know why this is but I've always had this thing about women in long dresses/skirts while wearing hairbands. Don't know why this is. It's always just had this induring appeal for me.

Even though it's great to show off The Legs, my favorite dresses are LONG dresses.
Long dresses and gowns ROCK. The flow of the fabric around my legs. The breeze, the loose fitting comfort of a skirted garment.
All amazing.

Dresses and headbands huh? That's a pretty random pairing... Is this something you like to wear or like to see being worn? This is so specific and eclectic that I can help but think that someone or something specific from your past inspired this.

At the moment, in all honesty, its something that i've always liked to see. I know its fairly random. I think the explanation might possibly be twofold here:
1. I do recall seeing numerous women wearing this "look" quite a bit when I was younger.
2. These images have always been appealing to me (possibly because from my perspective, they tend to symbolise an image of ultra femininity, if that makes any sense!

I don't wear long that often but my first time out was to an anniversary dance so I wore long, it did feel good driving and dancing in it, anyway I've pasted a picture as you requested.
