So I wanted to share a baby step I took recently. I was doing some online shopping at VS and was checking out the bombshell bra that adds 2 cup sizes. I've never had the guts to get an appointment to be properly sized and I did not want to spend 60 bucks on a bra that wouldn't fit. I looked around the site and it kept asking if I wanted a live chat. The item I wanted did not come in all sizes or colors so I thought... Sure why not. I needed to check a gift card amount and thought I'd ask some size questions. On a whim I used my male name in the chat. This was the first time I've just openly been a crossdresser to someone apart from forums. The SA was super helpful and did not say a thing about it when I talked about my sizes. I know it's small but it felt like a momentous occasion to me and I wanted to share it with someone. 💅💋

You've made a start, and making a start at it in male is not easy Lacey, Ok! you were online!

Things should become a lot easier for you now, don't run your credit card up in some buying frenzy though!
Keep with the Baby steps!

Stacy!

Good for you! Baby(small) steps is the best way! Sometimes you just have to step out there and do it but keep it small! I had to charge my credit card when I did Lana Mae's transformation. It is a small step but is also very large in the process! Congrats! Hug Lana Mae

That is still a step indeed.
Even talking about being a crossdresser with a complete stranger takes guts.

Yay! See? Sky still firmly in place, and not a pitchfork in sight. Enjoy.

Almost all of us on this forum took a 'first step' in some way. Well done!

Its a nice early acknowledgement. The SA on line obviously doesn't care about your gender...they have a job to do. BUT, its a very important step for you to acknowledge yourself, and to declare your uniqueness, when you might have hidden it.

Wow. I think that was great! I would never be able to talk to a live SA. An on line chat I'm pretty sure I could handle.

VS and other mail order companies r where I first started shopping for Sherry many years ago. Their easy return policies made finding out what sizes I needed easy to learn!

I am still apprehensive about shopping in person after 50+ Years even though the SAs in the couple of stores I went to were very accommodating, friendly and reassuring that I wasn't the first male to shop for wigs or cosmetics. I get nervous browsing dresses with my supportive wife and now find online shopping to be stress free (for me and her).

For a baby, baby steps are strides in 7 league boots. Don't downplay your accomplishment, it's significant and worthy of notice. Congratulations and here's a toast to new faith in your own strength.
