What is happening to me? Yesterday I was out just being me and while I was in a store looking over some merchandise I hadn't noticed another woman near by browsing as I was, when I heard a voice(female SA) call out "excuse me ma'am" as trying to get some ones attention and I "instinctively" turned to see what she wanted, only to see her wave to the other shopper to show her something I guess she had asked about. Not until I had left the store did I realize what I had done in my turning to look. Have I become so comfortable in my "skin" and clothing that I just operate on "cruise control"?

Maybe yes, especially if you wear panties 24/7.

I would take your reaction as a good sign. You responded as a woman would.

And, Lisa, in your case this is a bad thing? You can be either a sir or a ma'am, you look good as both! Hugs Lana Mae

Another reason I always shop in drab.

Whenever any SA says, "Ma'am, lady, or Mz.", I never turn and look. Because they don't mean me. And, whenever I hear snickering, an "OMG", or derisive comments? I also know it's not about me!
