Not many of us might of known of Peter who died recently aged 90. The Transformation exhibition held in Liverpool prompted many happy responses from attendees one of which stands out, " we need more people like him because there's not enough fun these days." Google his name for more details of his life and devotion to crossdresing.

Ha!

History of crossdressing.....

Well there was this caveman called Ugg. Ugg liked to wear his wife's bear skin. Things progressed from there to modern times.

I corresponded with him since 1990 until 2011 and met him once in the late 90's. He was fascinated by the noise and feel of taffeta and had a huge collection of vintage and more recently made dresses. I missed chance to see the exhibition at the Walker but it is still on at Sudley house museum in Liverpool suburbs. His books were mainly edited from letters in old Victorian and early 1900's magazines, they are still available from Amazon at various prices. His son will have had a lot of house clearing to do.
