I was just curious? Just how far will you travel for a good makeover, or a place to dress up and go out for the evening. Are we as mobile as it seems to me when reading about all the travelling going on? (Granted, almost anything to do with CDing would require travel out of GB).

I'd be in Sydney Australia right now, if my wife could sleep for 48 hrs!
I morally can't drug her though!
I get most of my work done within a ten minute walk,
Not the full makeover and a dinner though!

Not that far. I might make a weekend outing of a trip to Dallas or Houston, but for just an evening, 30 miles max.

2 hours and 16.3 minutes , but that's an approximation. I live near Baltimore/DC and although there is a fair number of transformation services within a half hour. My choice is True Colors Make Up Artistry in Bethlehem PA . Amanda while being a part of the community has tremendous skills and really does a wonderful job of makeup and photography.

Well, considering that the Alabama is like being in the Sahara desert, I am willing to travel hours.

I've made many 13 or 14 hr drives for various reasons over the years. Don't see why I wouldn't drive that, or possibly a bit more, if I wanted a talented person to help me look as femme as possible.

I went to Fantasia Fair one year, it was a 13 hour drive. It was my first CD convention. I go to Keystone now, it's five almost 6 hours away. It's worth it!!
