View Full Version : Wearing Bikinis: Would Half The Fun Be Enough?

Whether we've tried them on or not, most of us probably wish we could wear women's bikinis on the beach, around the pool, or at a water park. Whenever we've been to any of those places, we've probably seen girls we would have given anything to become. Maybe we had a chance to try on our Moms' or sisters' bikinis, and some of us probably even have our own. The only problem was, when we tried them on, none of us - except for maybe a lucky few! - could pass for a girl in them. For a long time, the only bikinis made for guys were Speedos. Now, thanks to companies like Skinzwear, Prevail Sport and Sunup/Sundown, just to name a few, there are a lot of men's suits that look very little different from women's bikini and thong bottoms. That said, I'm curious to know if they'd be as exciting for any of you to wear as women's bikinis would.

The fact that they're made for guys probably takes some of the fun away, but I'm thrilled by what I've seen in some of the catalogs and on their websites. So far, the only one I've shopped from personally is Skinzwear, so I'll post a few links to show their basic styles. For a bikini with full back coverage, click HERE (http://www.skinzwear.com/shoppingcart/product_detail.cfm?item__code=M26U-6510). Next, they have a "Rio" style, with about half back coverage HERE (http://www.skinzwear.com/shoppingcart/product_detail.cfm?item__code=M28L-5148). My favorite is called the "Fitted Rio," which has string sides and a gathered rear HERE (http://www.skinzwear.com/shoppingcart/product_detail.cfm?item__code=M18L-5148). If you want that one, better hurry before I get them all! :D Of course, they've also got great thongs, like THIS (http://www.skinzwear.com/shoppingcart/product_detail.cfm?item__code=M44U-3003) one, exciting g-strings like THIS (http://www.skinzwear.com/shoppingcart/product_detail.cfm?item__code=M31L-5135) one, and even side-tie thongs like THIS (http://www.skinzwear.com/shoppingcart/product_detail.cfm?item__code=M41U-5103-1472). Best of all, you can order any style in any fabric they have, including the ones they use for their women's styles. Let's say you're looking through the catalog and you find one of the guy's styles you like in one pic, you see a really cute pink floral print a girl has on in another, like THIS (http://www.skinzwear.com/shoppingcart/product_detail.cfm?item__code=B7-6101), and you want to order your suit in that color to make it more fem. No prob, you can order it in any fabric you want! They usually have about a dozen "stock" colors of every style, and a special order is about $8 more.

I used examples from that company only because I've worn their styles for a few years, and have always experienced the same satisfaction as I have in women's bikini bottoms. The feel is very close to the same, except that they're designed with a little more room in front! Depending on what you're comfortable with, you can also shave your legs, paint your toenails to match your bathing suit, and wear women's flip-flops or some other kind of beach sandals to the pool. I've found all that not only lets me enjoy my bikinis and thongs more, it also helps me blend in with the girls. Of course, I get some funny looks every now and then, but I'm lucky that most of the people at my apartment complex are foreigners. If they're saying something about me, I usually don't know what it is! Well, once when I was laying out I heard a kid asking his Mom (in English that time!) if I were a boy or a girl, and she said, "I think he's trying to figure that out." That's about the size of it for most of us, isn't it?

Again, I don't know if being able to wear at least half of what a girl wears for swimming or suntanning is exciting enough for the rest of you, but I hope this gives at least some of you a few ideas for ways to enjoy the summer a little more! :)

These don't look too bad actually. I may have to snatch up a few things from here. I've been very eager to buy myself some speedos for awhile but these actually look a lot better and they seem to have a lot more different and colorful styles. I know it is not "womens" clothing but, stylistically, they don't really seem THAT different and best of all, none of us would have to "explain" anything to ANYBODY about why we are wearing them because after all, they ARE "made for men!" Although I'm CERTAIN that it's not intentional, it's nice to see some clothing designers design clothing that can appeal to even us crossdressers and make us interested in buying clothes that were actually made for US!:D Thanks for the links!

Well, if I ever got up the nerve to wear a Bikini in public, I have one that I actually can pull off. I can do a very good 'tuck' of the boys, and the matching top is a firm 3/4 cup that with a combination of the nu-bra and silicone pillows, I can create cleavage in. I just have to use waterproof tape for the tucking!

I didn't look at the links, but I've never worn a one-piece when I go to a pool at a hotel I'm staying at. I have about 6 different bikinis that when worn with a gaff under the bottom doesn't show anything. Foam breast forms take care of the top portion. Jaie

I LOVE wearing these kind of suits.

It started back in the early 90’s when I found a flower print bikini bottom from Venus Swimwear I think. What I liked most about them is that they were big enough to lay properly across the back, the 1 inch sides and the fact that my package was contained. For an example of how I like my swim trunks (or jeans) to lay see: http://www.bikinijam.com/ It the girl in yellow in the upper right.

I didn’t like the flower print, liner or the half skirt type thing. So I spent hours cutting those things away from the seam. I don’t remember now but I some how died them a nice manly navy/black. I think I used ball point pen ink. The dye covered well, but I think in full sun you could see something of the pattern.

The best part was when I got to watch my boss’s house for a couple of weeks when he went to Germany with his family. They had a pool. I invited a long time female and her boyfriend over for swimming and a beer. Nobody said anything about my suit.

When I bought this house I tried to lay-low with the CD thing. And yes I consider these kinds of men’s suits as CD items because while they may not be made for women, they are made in spirit and design of women’s fashions and style. Anyway I lost the first summer of sunbathing in my yard. After that I just decided what the heck. I’ve been out in the yard most weekends. I get to feel the sun warming me. I spray the hose high in the air and let it rain down on me. Long live summer.

PM me it you would like other websites that I’ve found.

I'm able to wear a bikini in public without arousing any unwanted attention. But for those who can't, it doesn't matter as long as you're enjoying yourself.
